The Return Of The Buffy/Horror Movie Crossover!

Sequel to the Buffy/Jeepers Creepers thread.

If you could drop Buffy and the Buffyverse characters into any 'horror movie-verse' then what would it be and how do you think they would react?

For me, and the way the Buffy-verse always did dream sequences so well, I'd like to see Buffy and the gang take on Freddie Kruger.
It would be a way for them all to be genuinely scared/in danger for once (even for superpowered people like Buffy and Willow) and get another peak at some personal demons/fears (like with 'Nightmares' and 'Fear Itself', 'Restless').
Specifically the fears of people we never got to know in that way, such as Anya, Dawn, Tara, Spike, etc.


And after recently watching Candyman, something about the urban nightmare/decay aspect just made me imagine Faith vs, the Candyman in South Boston.


Oh, and I would love to see Puppet Angel vs. Chucky. 🙂

Well.. In my dream casting this has already happened. I mean, really, Nicholas Brendon... for decades I have lobbied for this and it's never happened. But he (and by association Xander) would be perfect in the Evil Dead series. He was so Ash-like. Even resembling Campbell to a degree. So.. my vote is Evil Dead. Drop Xander in there and let he and Ash fight the Deadites. I'd watch.

Evil Dead/Army of Darkness would be the big one. Xander especially would fit right in.

I'd also love Buffy to team up with Cassie Hack, the star of my favorite indie comic Hack/Slash, which stars Cassie as a "final girl" who continues to hunt down and brutally kill schlocky slasher villains, along with various demons and supernatural entities. I would kill to have Tim Seeley (the writer) be given free reign on some Angel and/or Buffy comics.

I imagine if Angel lost his soul while in puppet form, the story would pretty much become a Chucky movie. 😀
