So today is the wedding of the future King of England, Prince William, and his fiance Kate Middleton.

Is anyone interested, or bothered? I've noticed that lots of people here aren't from England, so what's your view?

I've been watching it, but I'm not very royalist, I just wanted to see her dress!

If you can't stand that sort of thing, feel free to say. No one's gonna get offended.

Haha it's cool- BB's take on it is much more relaxed than everywhere else thankfully :)

their wedding was very beautiful. it was like straight out of a fairytale ^-^
I've been watching it. I mainly wanted to see the dress! 🙂 I don't really get why people camp out for this, but I respect their choice. For me, it would just be too much hassle, and you might not even get a very good view. I prefer watching it on tv at home 🙂

I'm glad that two young people have found happiness. That is all.

Hi, Cait. I like the things you say. :)

Sex Pistols karma...no future in England's dreaming :)
It won't go away. It's on the television (12 channels apparently), on Twitter even though I blocked loads of the references and now on here as well. I may just go and live in a cave for the rest of the day. It's driving me insane!

The only thing I'm interested in is what songs the choir sang, as I know the guy who organised the music for it and he was keeping it under wraps for ages.

Aww and now it's on BB too! Sorry!
I've been out all morning- I've found it hard in the last week to work out what to feel because I really haven't been to that many weddings in my adult life. The last one was my student friends Simon and Becky in 1996- after that, all the weddings in my family have been abroad and I haven't been invited. And I think I can say at age 39 that I'm unlikely to get married myself now, although one should never say never, so I'm usually quite jaded and cynical about the whole business. But then again, you shouldn't get married for the sake of one day- unlike a woman in my office who got married last year and I swear was talking about it constantly for six months beforehand.

Wanna marry me? I'm reasonably attractive.............
I wanted to see the dress too...and I must say I found it gorgeous..she was breathtaking. I'm not ashamed to say I followed the ceremony (even though I never planned to) and I'm glad I did cause it was very elegant and William and Kate do make a beautiful couple..they seem very in love, they were so cute...

Prayer after prayer after prayer, too much jesus for me. You could tell on their faces that they just couldn't be bothered with it anymore. And seeing my Prime Minister making an ass of himself was both hilarious and shameful at the same time.

I stayed in bed. Ooh, I'm such a bad Royalist, lol.

Alright, I didn't really. Our street had a party, so I sat in the garden with my book and watched the kids run around. But I still missed the entire thing because no one had a screen up or a TV or anything, lol.

I can understand why people are so excited about it, this is our future King and Queen after all, but sometimes I think there's too much pressure put on what should be a young couple just starting out their lives together.

Princess Cathrine did look beautiful, though.

I agree about the pressure...but they'll manage to relax.
I watched it. The whole thing. You don't see that kind of thing here. We were monarchy, but that was years before I was born. I wanted to be a princess since I was a little girl, and I'm glad to see Kate did it. She was born like as a common girl, but will die as a royalty. Her dress was amazing. It was traditional and antique, and I loved the lace on her arms. He looked good also. I love the vest Elton John was wearing 😀

It was such an nice event, but in the end of the day, they're two people getting married, just like others, no matter how many people were watching them.

you stand a chance against me when hell freezes over. :D
I'm not British (close though, lol), but I watched the entire thing from 9 in the morning onwards (8am British time). I managed to escape the media coverage until today, so I wasn't too fed up with the whole thing as others were. Kate did look stunning (as expected) and I just loved how genuinely happy the two seemed. Wasn't it adorable when Kate was marching up the aisle and Wills wasn't supposed to look, so Harry snuck a peak and whispered to him? SO cute!

Also, did anyone catch the look Harry gave Pippa after Will and Kate kissed? He's dangerous, that one.

And I'm still going to marry him.

Me and Harry are engaged, so don't get your hopes up ;)
I don't really care for the royal family either, but i watched it anyway (since we did all get the day off for it)
Kate looked soo beautiful! Her dress was so lovely and plain looking. T'was a lovely ceremony. 🙂

We are a monarchy here, I don't know why though.. I think the whole thing is just disgusting.. It's nice when people get married, but I don't care more about them than anyone else.

I didn't watch it.

.......I woke up at 6am and watched the whole thing. It was amazing. She looked gorgeous, William looked so happy and Harry is just so cute lol! I finally turned it off and went back to sleep after they shared those two kisses on the balcony. Eeek! It was a truly a fairy tail wedding 🙂

I'm not British, but I love William and Kate. William has shown that he inherited his mother's gracious and kind spirit in the ways he serves his people. And Kate? She's the picture of elegance and purity; just the kind of woman William should marry. 🙂 I haven't watched the wedding yet (I wasn't getting up at 4 AM to watch that! LOL), but it's on my DVR and I'll watch it this evening with my girls.

I've been really annoyed about the manic coverage, and I am about as far away from being a Royalist as you can get but I have to say, I caught it on the news and they looked genuinely happy. They were came off very sweet. And I have to say, Kate's dress was beautiful, a wonderful nod to Princess Grace Kelly's wedding dress.

They seem to genuinely care for each other, so all the best to them. 🙂

I thought it was very similar to Princess Grace, too.
I agree, Kean; the media coverage has been WAY over the top. 🙁 I feel sorry for them 'cause everything in their lives has been so scrutinized since they announced the engagement, even moreso than usual. :\

I haven't watched it, I've caught bits of it on the news but thats all

Couldn't care less for it. I am more interested in Williams hair problems seeing as I worry i'm gonna go the same way :/

They both looked amazing and really happy. I wish them all the best in the future. Hopefully now the media will give them a break.
