The "Saw" franchise topic

I haven't seen them past 2 and I liked the 1st one. [shrug] I find myself rolling my eyes whenever a new one is released. I think it'll be funny if Dr. Gordon is just in a flashback or something. I don't think it'd make a whole lot of sense for him to try and take over.
 
I like Saw, but going past eight films is a bit much. I think that they should rap every thing up in this installment and call it quits. They had a good run and it's been a blast, but it gets tiring after a while. I, personally, hope that Jill kicks Hoffman's ass. And bringing back past characters is a good idea. I hope that Amanda gets at least one more scene because she was probably my favorite character out of all of them. I kind of wish she didn't die so that she could carry on Jigshaw's legacy.

Agreed I don't want them to do to many where they have lost their welcome and I liked Amanda.
Detective Perez is ok, but I like Kerry more, at first thought she was going to be THE detective of the franchise.
it would be disappointing to bring Dr. Gordon back just for a flashback lol.
& Shawnee Smith (Amanda) isn't in the confirmed cast, its disappointing really, I guess they were done with her flashbacks.
Jill really needs a partner if she wants to carry on her husband's legacy, though Amanda did hold her own, she got Adam & Lynn by herself even though she was small.
oh & I think the franchise still has a lot of potential, its been bombing the box office for years now (except last year), the budget is usually around 10 million, & the gross revenue every year is around 150 million, compared to their budget, its a hell of a profitable franchise.

she's been a nice filler, its too bad they keep killing detectives, we need one detective that follows Jigsaw for the entire franchise.

I liked Kerry but I enjoyed Perez a bit more that might be because I know the actress from The best years. I feel that kerry could have been good to though
KOH I agree they need to have one permanent detective I thought that was going to be Strahm but well we know how that turned out.
 
I think it became a tradition to kill off characters, only John & Amanda made appearances in all movies.

it seems that way hopefully if they do more we can see one character make it. I would really like to see Gordon survive no matter what since he was in the beginning.
Hey Saw fans this was released at comic con got the update and thought I would share couldn't hear but from what I saw I can say I'm excited! 🙂

1st few were good

but really it should have ended @ Saw 3.

could have had a decent horror movie trilogy then.

But now it's descending into Nightmare on elm street, halloween, friday the 13th territory.

TOO many sequels just ruin what's come before.
