The Series Finale Should Have Been 2 Hours Long

For a dramatic series finale of an epic & amazing action show "Chosen" was VERY rushed imo.

It should have been 2 hour like the "Xena" series finale. It felt too rushed imo

I remember thinking it wasnt long enough either on the first watch, but after seeing it a few (million) times, I think its good the way it is.

Definitely. In the writers' defence, it was originally intended to be a 2 hour finale, but the network couldn't allow it because they had only sold 22 episodes. (Which is also why it felt rushed. Since the original intent was for two hours, they had to squish the content into one.)

I would go a bit further than that and say that the series finale should have been two 90 minute movie length episodes, the way that the old "Remington Steele" series ended.

I agree "Chosen" was rushed, I feel a 2 hour finale would have helped them expand on things (like the broken Scoobies and Anya dying) and reflect, perhaps have a scene where the Core 4 sit down and talk about their journey and the last 7 years they spent together
