Ordered all my spring flowering bulbs, they'll arrive after my cruise so I can get them all in together. Last year I bought as and when and probably spent even more than I did today ordering online. Now to not look at any more and just remember I've already ordered them.
 
I think it is about time I bought another DVD / Blue Ray Player, but not one the crappy Chinese made Panasonic ones. They are renowned for having problems.
 
So I bought another bag on the cruise. This will be my everyday one though, it fits my water bottle in it as well as phone and purse so plenty big enough and not so expensive that I won't actually use it!
 
I finally ordered that steam cleaner. I had intended to go in store to see it, but its not been in stock in the local store at all. So I just ordered it and hope for the best.

Also ordered two new pairs of the high top sneakers. They are now half the price they were when I first got them! They do wear out pretty quick.

And the best bit... A mini icecream machine. I have wanted an ice-cream machine for YEARS (ta mastAchef) and I saw it advertised on Instagram for $15! So figured I cant go wrong with that. Now Im hoping I ordered the right one and not some silly toy instead... That seems awfully cheap.
 
I need a new electric toothbrush, mine is years old and only lasts for about 2 days now before needing charging and doesn't get fully charged as I leave overnight and it's not even half charged.
 
Since I have a little extra money, I've made it a point to buy things I need and want. Within the last week:

New shoes
A few t-shirts
Gummies 🥳
A large pack of Dove soap
A jade bracelet for my stepmom
LOTS of 5w/30 oil for the truck
Lovely pole lamp
Cigarettes 🔥
Upgraded my Paramount Plus
A tiny scarf for my teddy bear 🐻

I've been quite good. Haven't gone on a mad shopping spree, since I really like having money!

Ordered a variety of "interference paint" to use on my wood carvings. Also recently got a in ear monitor monitor amp for use with the band I'm in.
 
Woke up wanting to make honey ice cream, never had honey flavoured ice cream, but now I want an ice cream maker! Also woke up convinced it was Saturday, so there's that!
 
I am on the hunt for a new dishwasher. Benchtop type. The black friday sales dont seem all that great. And I know from precious years, the boxing day sales arn't all that good anymore either. I dont like buying big appliances online, but there isnt really anywhere local that sells them either.

Black Friday sales in general this year were just poor to me. I didn’t actually attempt to do any shopping, but I went to the store to pick up dog bones and healthcare stuff and the prices I saw were awful.

Maybe it’s a byproduct of inflation, but seeing stuff get marked “15% off!!!” or “25% off!!!!” down to what would be reasonable prices is just terrible.
 
Just got back from Sainsbury's (UK supermarket) nearly died at the till. Thought maybe £70 nope.... £127!!
I know a lot was from the "Free From" section and a few Christmassy bits but yeah... still recovering lol.

Prices have gone up so much. I had £53 of stuff in a shopping basket!
Well, money is pretty tight now, but I really need a lamp for my living room. I have an overhead light, but have not been able to find replacement bulbs for it. Every time I pass a garage sale, I stop to look, but so far I have found no suitable lamps.

I also really need a new pair of sneakers. But I looked online; and they’re now going for $80, when they were $50 two years ago. Inflation really is out of control.

I don't know if there's a Target near you, but I just bought a REALLY great pole lamp for my living room. And it only cost $15! It's sturdy, pretty and well made....you should check it out.

As for sneakers, I had the same problem that you did...a major price increase. But I found a great pair on Amazon. And it was just under $50...even had that cushioning on the bottom of the shoes and they're super comfortable.

Got and delivered a Christmas present today - new dance shoes for my girlfriend. Pricey, but the pair she had started to wobble at the front of the sole, so she was risking a fall if she stuck with them. The old ones would not have survived until Christmas.
 
I've realised in the last couple of weeks I've purchased 3 pairs of earrings...I think I may have an addiction. New Year's Resolution 2025 - stop buying earrings! 😂

Simple solution: Ask for them as presents instead! Because, you know, Christmas! :D
