Santa thought he would be nice to himself and get his elves to make him a special present. I’ve been making everyone else’s Christmas great this year, so figured I would treat myself to something cool, especially with my encroaching and well earned out of town trip next week.

I got the iced vovo hot cross buns instead because Coles could deliver those. Not great. Not as bad as regular hot cross buns, but not one I would buy again. Will have to go for a drive to find these ones to try. Iced Vovos +bread are a No.
Fairy bread is far more natural.

Sometimes I think to myself, I should try and make hot cross buns myself. And then I think...I can just buy them from the shop!

Help Me Name My Teddy Bear!!

I've had this little guy for years but I've never given him a name. Just never saw the need. But now I want to. I mean, look at that face. He really deserves a name. 😄

I saw a closing down sale on my adventures today, I dont really need any new clothes but it said all clothes $8 so I figured it was worth a look. I got two skirts and two dresses. I have been looking for a black skirt for a long time so I was stoked. When I got home to wash the clothes, I saw the original price tag. $119!!!!!! Who is dumb enough to pay $119 for these clothes?!?! They weren't much different to "best and less" brand quality. No wonder the place was closing down! I sorta wish I had a better look now knowing how much they are apparently worth, but besides the black skirt I really didnt need anything else.

I have some water lillies coming this week. I had seen white lillies at bunnings for $60 each, but found a place online selling 5 for $65 and all pink. Today I was at bunnings again and they had single pink lillies for $49. So Im hoping I get a good deal through the post.
 
My credit card company wanted me to shop at the winter sales, I got my monthly bill and it was like ”no sweat, you don’t have to pay any fees in January”

So, I did some shopping, but not on my credit card. You can enable me but you can’t control me! Mwahaha.

Worth it. Excellent. The best hot cross buns I have ever had. Just how I like them, outrageously Australian. Generous with the fairy.

Another gravity water purifier . Already have one of these but it doesn't make quite enough water for my needs in winter . Bought a cheap Chinese import for 58 quid , about 40% of the cost of a British one . I have resisted buying the Chinese replacement filters because they aren't much cheaper than local . This whole unit is a right bargain though . I've already spent over a tenner on bottled water this month . It will have paid for itself in a few hundred litres of production .

It's quite a big package (fnar-fnar 😉 ) , so I will have to physically wait by my postbox for a couple of hours tomorrow . just to ensure hassle free delivery . I don't usually use Royal Mail for larger items . It is coming Tracked 48 though ...which is the best service they do these days .
