My wallet hates that I've 'discovered' the joys of both Temu and diamond painting - it doesn't have to be an expensive hobby, but it can be 😛

Currently waiting for three separate packages to arrive, with about twenty different things in them, combined, from Shein and Temu 🙂

I tried Temu once...never again. The shoes I ordered were WAY too small. And they felt like a medieval torture device.

On the bright side, Amazon sent the correct size shoes and they look amazing. Etsy is also pretty good, especially for jewelry and stuff. 😁

Etsy is way too expensive for me, I wanna support small businesses but I just can't justify it.
I'm on the hunt for a new straw hat. My last one from bunnings is getting tattered. I would rather something nicer next time. All I have found online so far are $80 straw hats! Not gona happen, I know they arnt going to last long with how much use they get and I will need to replace frequently, so I am looking for something around $5.

So... how good are you at weaving straw? :D
Honestly, all I want is a new pair of non-slip work shoes, a washing machine and a full size fridge. Unfortunately, I can't afford any of these items now.

I'm shopping for reliable transport . So far the frontrunner is one of these
c2_r.png

A Honda GB350s . Just under £4000 on the road , brand new . The plan would be to keep for 3 years then trade it in when the MOT roadtests come due . I really like the retro look of this . It's crazy slow ...but these days , so am I 😀 .
It's Japanese made , the basic bike type is well thought of in global motorcycle markets .

I could just buy a brand new 125 scooter for around half the price . Then either run it into the ground or trade it in . Not really as versatile though and the thought of buzzing around on a plastic nightmare doesn't appeal . New bikes are priced to sell at the moment , one of the few perks of the looming recession . Cash is king !

EDIT ...Not really a lot of choice Shade. Can't afford to maintain a decent car . There is barely any public transport left . If I want the bus , I'm going to have to move closer to civilization . I did look strongly at 3 wheel 300cc scooters for a while, but the clearances on them are awful for offroad trackwork ,

Just be careful, lots of icy roads = lots of bikes on the floor

Yeah, good looking bike! Don't buy anything that doesn't have a regular transmission and clutch.
I got my straw hat with pink ribbon 🙂 not as cheap as I wanted but it was in mitre 10 for $12.95 when I was in the store so figured it was better to get it there than to keep trying to find anything cheaper online.

Had an amazon gift voucher, so bought myself two new fans ready for summer! One is a neck fan, and the other is more a desk fan, both usb charging so I can use them wherever. Hopefully we now get a good summer.

I've got Birthdays for friends coming up, so had to do some shopping. Managed to find something in one trip!

*must not buy a saddle for a horse I dont have* its on special and its exactly what I need and want. No, will not buy.

I should buy some glass containers for food storage. The mice cant get into the pantry but I found bugs in my flour the other day. So I should get a solid sealing glass jar for those sorts of things. They just cost money that I would rather spend on ponies.

Buy the saddle, then you have an excuse to buy a horse.
I need to get a new heated airer soon, hopefully this one will last until summer. However its become very unstable as the cat keeps sitting on one end which has bent the frame.

Can you bend it back? or will it snap?
I ordered the glass jars with clipping lid, but had to get the order up to $65 for free shipping. So I have more craft butterflies, hearts and dog toys on the way too. 50 cent dog toys! And I ordered a diamond art thing to make for my mum, a poodle with glasses, she will love it. It will be annoying though and come in a few different deliveries. I like kmart but its annoying to have to go to the post office 5 times for the same order.

Go ahead, give yourself a treat, get that saddle and the horse and stop wishing your life away.

Wana be my sugar daddy?
Well now I am trying to order scrunchies from kmart but have to get the order up to $65 for free shipping. Books are a bit of a waste of money... but they are calling me since the library waits are so long for so many of them. I cant even hold more than 5 when I am in line for several months. $12 a book doesnt seem too dear but its still a want and not a need. Soft hair scrunchies are a need!

I'm not in a position to be anybody's sugar daddy, but if you are going to buy something large, buy it with the seller's own money. Take the horse and offer to give riding lessons to the seller or anyone they designate as another customer. Companies are often bought and sold this way - I worked for 8 years at SPAR Aerospace, the name coming from Special Projects Applied Research, a division of De Havilland. The CEO of SPAR bought the division with money from De Havilland.

The horse was free, I just had nowhere to keep it. Its not a ridden horse, it was a pacing broodmare. Shes gone now :(
I went out grocery shopping at No Frills yesterday and brought my daughter along. I only went to one of the four stores on the list for this week and somehow managed to spend $275.10, largely for stuff she wanted. Now I get to go to the other three stores but I may be amending the list because we can't stuff anything more in the refrigerator.

Today's shopping will be at Food Basics, Walmart and Costco. But tonight is a dance night, so it's all good.
