I'm in the market for a cat scratching device...or I fear I may lose all my wallpaper in my hallway...

Can anyone with a cat recommend one? This is the first cat I've owned, so I'm pretty clueless here.

You need a cat tree. Maybe you don't need one as elaborate as this, but the cat will spend a lot of time scratching it rather than the walls:

I think I found a good one at Walmart.
I bought a new washing up bowl. For the price, this has been stupidly difficult. My sink is a small one, so a standard bowl won't fit, which means I need to check the measurements of a new bowl to make sure it fits. And what are washing up bowl sizes measured in? Litres. Really not helpful. Without length, width and height I couldn't tell if a bowl would fit or not from that. Ones I looked at in shops only had litres on their sizes, which meant I had to take a tape measure in to see if they would fit. Amazon at least had the physical dimensions - but not in the search results. That was still in litres. Which meant I had to check listings one at a time to see if they were the right size. I finally got a new bowl. It's slightly smaller than the previous one, but given the effort it took to find it, I decided it would do.

why not just use the sink itself?

My Oodie came and I'm feeling all nice and toasty in it when I noticed the temperature inside is 16.5C. Which is not that warm. So, these definitely work.
Oodies are worth the purchase! Just sometimes wish the sleeves weren't so oversized.
I do believe though they have a smaller option available now? Rather than the standard 'one size'.

Yes, I got a small/medium which is apparently the new one. I did wonder if it would be too small, but the Ood size (hmm... 😀) would have swamped me!

You made the right choice!
I am in the market for a power washer but have no idea where to start...

Other than that, I got a nice new rug on sale for Black Friday, and my cat promptly vomited on it. Oh, the joys of having pets.

From what I can tell, the starting point seems to be what use you want it for. Okay, not terribly helpful, but I get the impression that one wanted for, say, occasionally washing a car would be different to one you'd use every day.

Make no mistake, that rug was deliberately targeted!

The next washing machine I get is going to be a top loader if I can! I hate the front loader, its too low and hard to empty. Plus I cant chuck things in mid cycle. Lots of people prefer front loaders though. Im hoping mine will live another year, even though I hate it.

I lost my hair bonnet 🙁 I went to get another one but they were sold out, so now I have to find another one of those to order online!

No, I don't mean a washing machine for clothing, I mean a power washer like this:

I want to use it to clean off the vinyl siding of my house.

But I agree about washers! Mine is top loading, which is convenient.

Did you acquire one yet cuz a certain company that rhymes with 'arbor weight' has one on sale for like $70 for black Friday!

I just ordered another air fryer the other night, cos my current one has snapped at the top. The plastic has degraded and its literally falling apart. It still sorta works, it didnt cook my sliced potatoes evenly and I was worried it would catch on fire, so I found a replacement. $39, smaller, but green to match the curtains 😀 should be here in a few weeks.

I take it that where you are Fisher-Paykell and Bosch are fairly popular there? FP's are pretty good in comparison to others on the market. Just make sure you get one with a full size agitator and NOT one with just the plate in the bottom as it was a constant complaint that that style does not get the clothes clean. Nowadays any front loading washer will do a way better job of cleaning than any top load style. What is your normal AC outlet voltage there 120 or 240?

I've been online window shopping for the baby nephew, for roughly the next 3 years! He's getting duplo obviously!

I purchased a nice leather wallet on sale today for my boyfriend for Christmas. I originally retailed for $80, but I got it it for $20! Score! I also got a nice pair pf pants for myself on sale.

@Joan the Vampire Slayer
