I am on the hunt for new sunglasses. Polarised and UV protection. Any recommendations? I don't really care about fancy frames, I just want the glare from the road to be less.

What are you shopping for?

Im waiting on a delivery of a new cooling bed for the cat

Still waiting, but now the tracking which told me it was in Belfast on Friday is saying that it was delivered on Thursday!
I had a mess up with tracking last week too. Two BIG dog beds, I told the post office they were coming in. The tracking said it was lost in Perth. Finally a week later it says its at my post office. I went in and they said they had it for a week! It had arrived the day after I told them to expect it! Grr. Had I gone in and checked my post box, the ticket would have been in there, but I was relying on the online tracking and it was WRONG! I feel so bad cos these beds were huge and just sitting in the way of them at the post office. Whoops!

I am still looking for sunglasses and honestly my neighbours look like the best ones out haha Best reviews and everything, but I just dont think I can justify the price, thats bonkers. I have had my crappy plastic sunnies for years and never broke them, but can near on guarantee once I spend real money on some, I'll sit on them or something stupid like that.

I've been looking into a couple of hair products that assist with wavy/air dried hair. I'd love to not lean so much on hot tools, but my hair either looks scraggly or like I've stuck my fingers in a toaster 😂. Maybe I haven't come across the right product/technique for my hair.

You can find a few sunglasses that fit your needs online. Something like this: https://www.theiconic.com.au/womens...d/?search_type=category&page=1&sort=price_low might be useful?

I went on a vinted shopping spree last night, didn't mean to buy so much but everyone kept accepting my offers! Ended up buying 7 items, and I definitely needed new clothes. So this is my holiday shopping.

Awesome! Do you use Mercari too? I love that app.
Do I do it? Do I buy the Michael movie? I know I will be watching it more than once, but I've never purchased a movie on youtube or anything like that, its it a download or just stream access? Its pretty expensive if I can only watch it once or for a month!

Will it come out on DVD? I'd do that. Then you'll always own it.

For stuff I've bought on Amazon, I can watch it digitally on there, but I also have the option to download. Which I guess I should try out to see if it works (such as when offline), because if Amazon loses the area rights to that film/series, I will lose the ability to watch it on Amazon.

Which is the problem with digital purchases if you can't download them; you never actually own them, it's merely a permanent until cancelled rental.

Yeah thats what I figured, theres no point getting it through a streaming service cos if they lose it I lose it! So Im not sure where I should get it from. There are all sorts of for sale adverts on fb for it too but they look dodgy as.

I wish it was still on at the cinema! I didnt see it advertised or even really know about the movie at all until after the Michael mania began. Apparently it was on at the local cinema but only for 3 weeks a few months ago. So I am sad cos I would have loved to see it on the big screen.

DVDs are in many ways the best bet, if you can get them cheaply. And have a DVD player! Amazon UK have it listed for release on 10th August for £10.99 and my experience has shown that initial streaming prices are often about the same as initial DVD releases. I usually try and get pre-used from Music Magpie, Amazon or eBay in the UK, but sometimes that is difficult.

Yep. This is why I'm old school and own and watch DVDS. I also rent them from the library.

I forgot charity shops as a way of getting them. They can be good for picking up series box sets for a fraction of the original price.

The added bonus of purchasing it on DVD means you might get some bonus features - extras like the making of/deleted scenes etc. If you enjoy that kind of content, something to keep in mind!

Depending on who you get your streaming media from, many streaming purchases do this as well. I use Fandango at Home (formerly Vudu) and generally get the same special features as my friend who buys physical media.

Thank you for the info! I didn't know that.
I want to get either shorts or leggings to go under dresses. Probably leggings, and I might just grab some from the big supermarket next time I go there.
