I love Tony Todd and got excited seeing him listed as a guest star. The eppy started out promising, but was quite disappointing.

was shocked when Angel(while posessed) attacked/bites Kate. Judging from how PALE she looked, he drained her quite a bit.

don't like Cordy's hair, too dark and harsh looking.
 
I liked this episode, I liked the way that all of them wanted the shroud for different reasons and the bickering that it produced, it was like they were kids with a toy they didn't want to share, I especially liked Cordy and Wesley when they went into the museum and the way it made them both act, and good for Angel, Kate needed biting, she whines to much. And its great at the end when Cordy has that lovely necklace.
 
I don't hate this episode, but I don't look forward to it very much when going through this season. Angel disguise as a wise guy (or whatever... I don't know) cracks me up.

Yes, Cordelia's hair looks like a bad imitation of Jennifer Anistons during the early Friends days. Way too dark.
 
I think I've only ever watched this episode once or maybe twice. To be honest I find it a little too weird and a little too boring, it has a good story to it but it was executed wrongly. It was good to see Angel bite Kate though, I thought the first time I watched it that was it for her. Either way this is one of those episodes with a lot of the middle of season 2 I skip.
 
I liked when Angel killed that Elvis vampire and when he and Gunn fought. It's surprised to see they opened the episodes with Wesley in investigation room. I don't hate Cordy's hair. It's much better than when she dyed it blonde.
 
I was shocked by Angel biting Kate(although i found it quite sexy!sorry i am in love with Angel!) but then Angel came to his conscience...didn't he say:stay down or they will kill you? he did it to protect Kate...was he really possessed when he bit her?i don't quite remember!

I think he was conscious when he bit her. It was like, he wanted to hurt Kate(physically) a little because she kept blaming him about the death of her father. It also showed Kate that he'd never hurt her. But the main reason is, protecting her from being shot.
 
Seemed too cliche to me, and Gunn seriously pissed me off in this episode. Every time Angel walked into a room he would punch him in the face. Way to stay in disguise...

The Good;
Very little, like Angel's Ja'Don impression and some nice Kate stuff but that's about all.

The Bad;
Cordy's hair is awful, she looks like Courtney Cox after a bad perm. The rest of the episode is pretty awful, the whole Wes interrogated by the cops technique really not working at all. If the Shroud is so powerful and destructive how could it have survived for so long?

Best line:
Angel " I could use a sweater, something dark"

Jeez, how did they get away with that?
The twisting of the guard's neck. The story of the city's population going insane with mother's killing their children is also horrible.

Apparently the things bringing in the chicks are 'the dough and the ride'. Wes says he's 'Good with the ladies himself'

Angel mistakes Kate for Darla. Hmmmm? Kate also has a pic of her dad on her desk. Where's her mum? Gunn refers to vamps killing his sister.

Questions and observations;
Angel is a Chow Yun Fat fan, again weird when he was supposed to be a street tramp when he was at the height of his fame (Hard Boiled). If Wes wasn't under arrest before, why was he at the police station? We have the first appearance the tranquliser guns. Noted character actor Tony Todd (Candyman, Babylon 5, Night of the Living Dead etc) appears here almost unrecognisable as one of the demons. Is the head of the robbery gang human or demon? Jay-Don ran with the Rat-Pack as apparently Angel did during his Manilow phase according to 'The House Always Wins'. Kate is the first human Angel has fed on since Buffy in Graduation Day pt2.

Marks out of 10; 3/10, in my honest opinion the worst
episode of Angel EVER!
