The Slayer Activation Spell

I has to be a spell that Willow cast. If it wasn't a spell, how did those Japanese vampires reverse it and drain a slayer of her power before killing her?

Huh?

Willows spell did activate the slayers, but WA was suggesting that by activating so many slayers the slayer power was depleted and took century's to be re-established, I was saying that wasn't what happened.

Um, yeah sorry- I was replying to WA, he said something about it not being a spell, just something that Willow 'made' happen, which implied that it was irreversable.

How effective would Willow's spell have been if they slayers had found themselves not on a ledge but literally on a level battle field.

Would the First have won?
Would the comics have been about a reincarnated Buffy or a Buffy MK2?
And that whole talk by Joyce, saying there is evil in everyone that you can't defeat the First
Would that chat be said by Giles, saying that good is in everyone so it can't be defeated.

Obviously, in the time between Willow's action and the Japanese vampires' arc, they had time to perfect a spell that would do exactly that. What Willow did, spell or no spell, resulted in each Potential receiving a certain amount of power. The Japanese vampires simply perfected a spell (possibly related in some way to whatever they won from Dracula) that allowed them to siphon off that power. They were simply recovering an existing source of energy. How that energy came to be there is totally irrelevant.
