The Spider Demon?
(Based on Season 7 Episode 5 Selfless)
Willow had gone to the building that housed all twenty eight boys of the Capa Dei Reus branch of happy chappies at the Sunnydale University that evening. After Willow entered the hallway she called out hoping that one of them could direct her to her friend but there was no reply.
Opening the door Willow wandered into the television lounge - stopping as quickly as she could. There was twenty six of the boys in the room though each of them lay dead, having had their heart, lungs and every blood vessel removed.
Willow was perplexed as none of the lads bodies bore a look of a painful expression. Willow had rung Buffy thinking that a demonic creature must have been involved, Buffy was said she was with Spike not that that would stop her, they went to see what Willow had stumbled on.
Waiting outside the main door Willow was happy to see Buffy and Spike when they arrived.
“I have had a good look about this Capa Dei Reus place but I cannot see where it got in or left,” said Willow.
Buffy looked at the bodies,
“I’m guessing that whatever it was that did that it came from down below,” said Buffy.
Spike muttered an agreement. “From Beneath you, it Devours!” exclaimed Spike.
Willow gasped as soon as she heard Spikes announcement.
“Why would you think that it or they come from Australia?” asked Willow.
With Buffy both the girls laughed at Spike.
“Oh sod of, there is something you missed missy red. Spread the curtains up there and you will see the top windows have been broken, I’m not sure if someone or something broke their way in or even broke their way out,” said Spike.
Buffy, Spike and Willow left by the front door to go to the ground under the broken window. Spike pointed to the shattered glass on the ground, then to the broken leaves on the bushes. Buffy pointed to the broken twigs they indicated that something had climbed on the tree recently.
“I’ve just had a thought,” said Willow
Willow took a vase out of her bag, she took three steps away from them and put a locket on her foot. Tipping the contents from the vase about her she began to chant.
“Beatums sit in nom ini D’Hoffrynis Fi at hoc spat ium, porta ad mundi um Arashmaharis,” stated Willow.
“Good grief, I’d never have thought she could do that,” said Spike.
“Do what? What did Willow just do?” asked Buffy.
“She just invoked the Lord of Arashmaharis, D’Hoffynis, Lord of all Vengeance Demons,” said Spike.
There was a flash of white light then the light faded to dark and a figure appeared.
“Behold, I am here, the Lord of Arashmaharis, the great oh hello Willow good to see you again, why am I here though?”
“I had a thought that one of your girls might have been at her work, it’d be quicker to ask you than keep looking,” said Willow.
D’Hoffryn looked about,
“Normally I’d chastise anyone who did that to me but well, I do like you miss Rosenberg though in this case, even though you called me for nothing as I feel nothing demonic here, it is nothing to do with any of my girls.
None of the three local girls did this they are all at other, well I won’t go into that but do take me seriously there is a strange taste here but it is not from a vengeance demon,” said D’Hoffryn.
Spike faced Buffy and asked her what could have caused the murders.
Buffy asked Spike and Willow who she should ask to find out who might know.
