The story doesn't make sense now...

Okay, Joss had said several times after Buffy's fifth season death that a new Slayer would not be called. Faith would have to die in order for that to happen because she IS THE Slayer. Buffy's kinda like just the leftovers. But now they have Buffy saying "My death could make you the next Slayer" in "Potential." If that's the case how come Buffy's death didn't make a new slayer last season? And here's the spoilery part....

I read in spoilersluts.com that
Buffy will meet the creators of The Slayer and they will tell her that she is the LAST slayer.
Did they forget about Faith? Either that or Faith won't make it through this battle in which case that would make Buffy the last Slayer. But that line I mentioned above is still bothering me. This show isn't known for making little oopsies like that. Any comments?

There are 10 episodes left of this season, just keep watching em...

This should be in the spoiler section.

Maybe Buffy is the last to walk to the earth, not the last one in line

Members can discuss aired episodes in here and pertain to what *may* happen. It doesn't necessarily mean it should belong in the spoiler section as it's actually discussing things that have been aired, along with what may come about. Agreed there are spoilers in it, but then there alot of other threads around the boards that have them in too, sometimes when discussing things it can't be avoided.😉 You can't just put every thread will spoilers in in the Spoiler Forum. It is allowed as long as the threads are clearly marked for spoilers.

4. If there is a thread that has spoilers in it, please insert SPOILERS in the thread title somewhere. Otherwise, just post spoilers in the spoiler forum. Also, please do not include spoilers in thread titles, even in the Spoiler forum, as people using the "View New Posts" feature will still see them. You may also use spoiler tags in your posts,
spoiler text
. Season 7 Buffy and season 4 Angel episodes that have not yet aired on Sky One in the UK are considered spoiler territory.

As stated in our Code of Conduct

I'll put a spoiler warning in the thread title, which will warn other members that there are spoilers in the thread.

Exactly what Allycat said, the big spoiler in this would be basically telling you that everyone else in the line is gonna bite the big one.

lol...allycat got shutdown...see what happends when you free post that a thread is in the wrong forum..lol

and the whole buffy slayer line thing is so convoluted already...writers can't make up their flackin minds...

lol flackin.... that's a great word. The first image that came to my mind was someone whacking something with a fly swatter 😀

O, I'm still here, and since the main subject of dicussion is something we know is going to be said, I still think this does belong in the spoiler section, but I'm not a mod or anything, so if Anya thinks it's allright here then I'll go with that.

However, it conforms with the board rules, so no offence Allycat, but it doesn't really matter. The subject is in relation to what has previously happened, and what is currently happening. What happens inthe future is put in spoiler tags, as the thread is not solely concerned with spoilers.

/me wonders what the definition of flacking is, that it acts as some form of repellent. Why would it be needed as repellent?

Going to say it again...

Please do not use misspellings for the simple reason that many of our members do not speak English as their first language and "kewl" talk can be confusing.

I think Buffy was just keeping things simple for the SITs; if she wasn't, then she was still wrong.

I'm going with the "keeping things simple" angle. The SITs have enough to absorb as it is (and some of them are doing better than others). It could also be a partial "white lie" used for motivational purposes.

(If Faith dies before Buffy, a "bonus" Slayer will be called. If Buffy dies before Faith... well, she's trained the SITs as well as possible.)

Main Entry: 3flack
Function: intransitive verb
Date: 1965
: to provide publicity : engage in press-agentry

go look it up buffy summers...if you censor this...then you can cover up anyword YOU think is offensive....

flack...flack...flack....lol

and sit idea is dumb

#1 this doesn't belong in this thread. If you have something to say to me, pm me.

#2 If you want to use flack in the way you've defined it above, that is fine. But when you continue to use it as in 'flack you' it will be censored.

#3 I am not wasting my time on this issue any longer. Any more pointless garbage like this will be deleted. This is a board for Buffy and Angel discussion. Please stick to that.

i think shes either
a) chooses to forget about all tings faith related
b)is WAY self involved and thinks the slyer line only revolves around herself
or
c) she doesnt think the SIT are ready to know about the idea of a 'rogue murderous slayer'

Given the circumstances, all three are plausible reasons for leaving Faith out of the story. I'm inclined towards C) myself, but you could make a good case for any of them.

Wait a minute, one of the SITs (I think it was Vi) brought up Faith in "Showtime". She said "There's another one. Somewhere." They know another slayer exists, but they obviously don't know the story behind it.

Lily, I'm going with your 'a' scenario (with a slight part of 'c' because I don't think Buffy knows that they know about Faith).
