The teasing look on Angel's face when he says to Buffy: "Don't go down there." The Harvest S1

The moment when Angel kisses Buffy on top of her head while looking sidelong at Faith in Enemies.

And again in Enemies and the look Buffy gives Angel after he says "I know I didn't."

The look on Angel's face when the arrow pierces him in Graduation Day Pt 2. The look on Buffy's face when she sees this. Pure shock.

When they are both on the ground when Buffy is holding Angel in Graduation Day Pt. 2 after he collapses.

The look on Buffy's face just after Buffy pulls the arrow out of Angel and as she is lifting his shirt up to check out his wound. Total concern.

The way Buffy says Angel's name. The way he says hers.

I'm watching Helpless right now and noticed that even though they were training, Buffy and Angel appeared to have had a picnic beforehand. I thought it was kind of cute.

I also really love the way Buffy smiles when Angel asks if it's definitely her father she's meeting!

In IWRY when Buffy and Angel take to the sewers to find the Mohra and they have this exchange:

Angel: "It's just a rat. - So, you can put that down. It's not a vampire. I don't know why you brought that anyway."
Buffy: "Because I know how to use it. Besides it's a lot handier then your fighting ax."
Angel: "Unless he chops it in two and maybe takes some of your hand with it."

The UST between them is palpable and when that happens they get snarky as Hell with each other. We hadn't seen them this way since early season two.

I love how they push each other's buttons. I love even more when we actually get to see that. Which, as we all know, is not a large portion of the time.

The subtle moments of Bangel are where I live. They are what make the ship for me.

-My favourite B/A moment of all time is when Buffy asks Angel to tell her he doesn't love her and he just stares at her. That look was filled with more love and passion than any other ship could even hope for. This is my B/A.

- In Surprise, when Buffy comes to see Angel in the morning, there is a quick shot where he is trying to placate her and you just catch a glimpse of her hand underneath his t-shit. To me, that is the sexiest shot of the whole series. The intimacy of the touch, it's just gorgeous.

- In City Of, when Angel calls Buffy at the end and the silence is filled with their theme song. *sigh*

- In Revelations, when Xander spies Buffy and Angel kissing through the window, there's a quick shot where we see Angel smile whilst kissing Buffy. You'd miss it if you weren't looking for it. We rarely see how Buffy and Angel move each other, that little shot is one of my favourites of when we do.

- "It's Buffy". For me, that last scene of Angel S2 is thrilling as B/A fan. You can almost feel his heart sinking. It's tangible. They could have really overdone Angel's reaction to Buffy dying but it so perfect, so sparse, that it did exactly what it was needed: filled those last few seconds so completely with Buffy that you could feel her there. And this forced you to feel Angel's loss all the more, because you knew that she wasn't there. Would never be there again. Oh, I could marry this scene.

Oh I totally agree with the last one. I think it's one of the most chilling scenes in ATS. It's just a beautiful scene and it shows really well that Alyson can act without actually really doing anything at all. She's a great actress and I think she proves it in this scene. The "It's Buffy" Breaks my heart aswell.

My favourite moment would probably be The Prom, with the tiny little smile across the crowd too each other, despite being over. I cried through out that whole episode.

I don't know about you, but my heart broke when I saw Willow sitting there and saw Angel's face...

-I love how excited he gets when Cordy tells him Buffy's alive. Even though he (supposedly) had feelings for Cordelia, look at how happy he is to know she's not dead.
-In Chosen where them kissing serves as hello.

The smirk on Angels face in The Yoko Factor when he walks past Riley to talk to Buffy out in the hall. That smirk says sooo much!

This. Completely!

Oh, there are so many little moments. I love the, "I killed Angel. Do you even remember that?!" bit. "I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this world..."

Haven't seen AtS1 for a long time but responses in this thread are making me think about "Sanctuary"...or possibly "Five by Five"...anyway, right after Angel calls Sunnydale to find out what's going on with Faith, and then relays the conversation to Cordy and Wesley. He's so upset that Wesley immediately knows that the question to ask is "Did she hurt Buffy?"

And then, "Giles just said...it was hard." You can just feel him suffering on her behalf. Absolutely adored this pair of episodes.

I just watched this with my sister the other day (it was on Scifi or FX...or one of those channels). She isn't a shipper, in fact I am fairly certain she has no idea what shipping is and certainly has no idea that I am an insane shipper of B/A (Oh what I secret life I lead! lol), but after that line she turned to me and said "He really loves her doesn't he? I mean, after all that time he still really loves her. He'll probably never love anyone else but her...now I'm sad."

Imagine my pride! 😀

Whenever Buffy says "Angel"

The quick hug Angel gives Buffy in Gingerbread when she is standing in the park looking at the memorial left by someone for the dead kids.

When Angel rubs Buffy's back in that same scene.

In Amends the look they exchange after the snow starts falling and the music crescendos.

In Homecoming when Buffy comes to the mansion bringing Angel blood. Angel puts his hand out and fixes Buffy's collar. Buffy not knowing what Angel is going to do pulls away and steps back.

When Angel opens his door and sees Buffy standing there in front of him looking concerned in Surprise.

When Buffy calls Angel honey in the first scene in Choices.

When Angel jumps off the pier to save Buffy after she gets knocked into the water in Surprise.

Angel's It's ok Buffy I'm here I'm right here after she wakes up from the nightmare and calls out for him.

Can I just live in this thread? Seriously.

In S1, when Angel tells Buffy "You look pretty even when you're asleep.", and the way he brushes her cheek when he kisses her for the first time. Oh mylanta. And later on when she exposes her neck to him and says "Go ahead." The vulnerability and look in her eyes was so telling of how much she already felt for him and vice versa.

S2 - When She Was Bad: He tells her that he missed her, and she says it back but he's already gone... The look of pure sadness in her eyes. The emotion in his voice, like he's thought of nothing but her since she left is so beautiful. Gets me every time.

In Surprise, when she visits him at his apartment and they kiss, she says, "God, Angel, you feel..." SWOON

This one is technically not a Bangel moment but when she dreams in Innocence that she is at a funeral, and he tells her "You have to know what to see." and she realizes Jenny knows more than she's saying. Something about that always gets me. That even though Angel is "gone", he's still helping her through her dreams, that their love is so powerful that it doesn't matter what comes against it because he can still help her... Now I sound crazy. Moving on.

There are a few Angelus/Buffy moments I like too: In Killed By Death when he says "Not feeling well, Lover?" (Hot) and when Willow tells Buffy in Passion that even though Angel is now Angelus and he is evil, "You're still all he thinks about." Both moments to me affirm my belief that Angel's core feelings are shared by Angelus, which is why he's so fixated on her and not just because as he says "Because she made me feel."

In Becoming Part 2 - The concern in his voice when he says "You're hurt.", the look of sheer relief and love on her face when he takes her in his arms, and when he kisses her shoulder and tears are coming down SMG's face... *crying*

When he first comes back in S3 and says her name while crying... She looks like she can breathe again, like someone brought her back to life, too.

In Amends, when she's begging him to get inside and he reminds her of how he wants her "so badly" and she just looks at him knowing she feels the same.

Okay, I'm gonna leave before I alienate all of you with my crazy.
