Those are the UGLIEST things I have ever seen. Whenever I see people wearing them, I just want to scream and rip the shoes off their feet and set them on fire. Just......FUGLY!

So.... begs the question is everyone (and I have polled people IRL too..) if everyone says they hate them, which is the case, why are the popular? Especially considering (for the most part) it is this age group that is being really marketed to now. Either, there is an something amiss and one person is buying them all, or some of you are FIBBERS!!! and really have some but are too cowardly to admit it.

Where did they come from? I've seen them suddenly pup up lile two years ago and they are just plain ugly to me. But I find a lot of fashion extremely ugly and people still buy it, so I don't really know. But this is I think one of the single most high ranking ugliest things in design I've ever seen. Really yuk. But I've also seen people wear it. I wouldn't and I hope I'll never catch somebody I closely know, wearing them, otherwise they'll lose their feet.

Guess I´m too late. Both to the thread but also considering how long these have been available. I´ve been thinking of getting a pair for some time. I have problem with my feet and spend a lot of time in work on my feet and it does affect me more than I ever would like to admit. So people recommended me those and I´ll try them out. If they do their job I don´t care if they´re ugly. But I´m planning to get the black ones at least. No pink ones for me.

My mum bought her pair for that reason - because she has problems with her feet and as a teacher is on her feet all day. She really only wears them to work in her classroom, and on the beach in the summer.

Yeah, she likes them because they're comfy. I've tried them on and they feel a bit weird, but she's happy with them.

At least those things seem to be comfortable, no matter how ugly they look. I've never seen how women could actually walk around on those 6 inch stiletto heels without falling flat on their butts.
