The "Swell" proposal.

did anybody else read that?
on the last pages where the fans right questions and comments
and some guy proposed to his girlfriend in it?

I thought it was really cool. anyone else?

I don´t have this issue yet but Swell is the title of episide 22 right? And the last pages is questions and comments from readers and now I´m guessing someone wrote and made a proposal through a letter knowing his/her boyfriend/girlfriend would read it. But that´s just me guessing. I´m sure someone will confirm it or tell me I´m wrong. But if I´m right a link can be hard. A pic could be done though.

What do I think about it? Well it´s original and that can be a good idea. But a lot of things have to come together for it to work really well. And I wonder if the writer realised how long it would take until the letter got published but I hope it worked out. Not how I would do it if I ever would propose though.

Yeah, he first gives like a ESSAY on their life together and how Buffy/Angel/Firefly is a part of it, and talks about how he hopes they are reading this together and then he proposes.
 
That's sweet. Unfortunately I missed it because I was too busy being disgusted with the issue.

lol aww. yea it was pretty lame but there are always episodes that aren't as good so I'm hoping it will get better.
I read it. I thought it was adorable! I kept going on about it to my parents, who seemed to think I was crazy. It was really cute though, that they loved Buffy so much he put the proposal in the comic. Adorable. 😀
 
I thought it was really cool with the essay about how Buffy influenced both their lives, though I know I wouldn't want to be proposed to through a comic. But it was cute 🙂
 
As some of you might know, I don't read the comics however based on this thread, today I went into a comic shop in London and had a look at the letters page and there it was.

My friend, a huge comic geek, thought this was the most romantic thing ever (though she would prefer it in a Batman comic) and I have to say, I thought it was nice.
 
I thought it was sooo adorable...and i so hope they were reading it together because that would be so cute 🙂

I so hope she says yes, and it's just soo cute how it was buffy that brought them together and then with the comic and oooooh so cute 😀
