The Tara figure and the CD (I'm very very confused and quite happy)

So, it was three months ago (and a half). I recieved an email from bensonentertainment.. It was written by Diane Benson (Amber's mom). The email started with "A very nice person wanted to surprise someone on the Essence board with an "act of random kindness" and she chose you. A Triangle Tara action figure has been ordered for you! ..."
And I was very surprised (almost started crying, I was a huge Amber fan at this time) and didn't really understand what had happened. But apparently I was gonna get the Tara "Triangle" action figure, signed by Amber, without paying anything. I couldn't believe it was true.
But today I got my Tara figure, and a CD with two songs by Amber. And I still have now idea why this was given to me. I mean, just the delivery was $10.. I feel like I must have some guardian angel who knew this was exactly what I needed that day (in the beginning of October).. To me, just getting an email from Diane was really special.
And now I own a Tara figure, on which Amber has written "To Johanna - Much Love & Best Wishes!"
I'm not even sure why I'm posting this, it's just that I can't understand. And I needed to tell someone who could possibly understand what I felt.. lol.

Has anyone else got the CD? If so, what do you think about Amber's songs..?
 
That is pretty cool! I was just wondering what the songs were called... I was looking to find them... Cant find them anywhere!!!!
 
At the Essence of Amber forums they had a drawing of people who would recieve one of the new Tara figures. You must have dotated or something. But, I've looked through the thread and I didn't see your name. *shrugs* I've already ordered my Triangle Tara for $125, which is a good price for a autograph and figure from Amber. I included a note to her in my money order.
 
KansasSlayer - No, that's the thing, I didn't donate any money or enter a contest or anything. I read about it and thought about it but I never did it. That's why I got so surprised 😀

i want amber sending me stuff! lol. what are the songs like? i bet they're all 'la la lovely' type songs. And she'll sing real high probably, she's got a really nice voice i think.
 
Aw, Fran, I get all giddy and gleefull just hearing (uh, reading) you saying that, hehe. So smile 😀

The songs are sweet and calm and her voice sounds quite different from OMWF, mostly 'cause the songs aren't all high and all that. I feel kinda sentimental listening to Amber.. hmm..
