VisionGuy, Charisma, and the vampire security staff stand around a table looking at the awards guest list. "So everything is running smoothly so far except for the makeout session but I nipped that in the bud. I want you all to be on the lookout for anybody who breaks the rules. Do whatever you want. Show no mercy! But watch the swearing."

VG, Charisma, and the vampire security put on their secret service shades and scatter.

I hear their going to ban people if they don't shut up during the awards, not sure how true it is just a rumour, but it would make for some excellent scandal, along with Emma making out with James in a closet!

Ooh, wow. I'm pretty nervous. Even on the B-Boards, I've got the nerves. OK.

I'm honored to be in the company of my fellow nominees. Some gorgeous work there, yeah. I wanted to thank Joss Whedon, for the Buffyverse that he created...which led me eventually to this site and all you cool people. Thanks Joss. Thanks to Buffy Summers for running some kick-ass websites. Truly, I'm just happy to be around, checking things out. I need to thank nerd4hire, whose curiosity actually led me to learn how to post images online and start generating photoshop art. Edb decided to sit this category out and give us mere mortals a shot this year. Thanks edb for your shockingly skillful photoshoppery, for inspiration.

Thanks to all you nice people who looked at my art threads...and actually bothered to post comments, lol. Gracias. 🙂

 

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy glides across the stage to the microphone, heels clicking on the polished stage floor. Halfway to the mike, she stops and points at Bangelxx, then back at her own eyes.

"I have my eye on you, troublemaker."

Buffy continues on to the podium, then clears her throat.

"I am happy to announce a new award here at Buffy-Boards, for the member who most exemplifies the spirit and ideals of the BB community. This award allows us to highlight a member who gives of their time and intellect, who truly cares about this board and its members, and who serves as an example to others."

Buffy smiles warmly at the audience.

"It is my honor, my priviledge, to present this award to goldenboy."

She motions for the crowd to hold their applause.

"And also, in years going forward, this award will be known as the Goldenboy Award of Excellence. Congratulations, goldenboy."

 

[Bangelxx]

*cowers slightly under Buffy's gaze but then regains composure watching goldenboy on the podium*

*dances with Rose*

Buffy glares down at the crowd as she joins the applause for goldenboy.

"Allright! That's IT!"

Buffy removes a shoe and proceeds to run after Bangelxx with it.
