Got a question? Buffy died years ago with a drowning that only made her dead like a minute. Ok, then we had a new slayer and Buffy did not know what to do with her. She was killed off and we Got Faith as the replacement. Ok, die for a few minutes and you get a new slayer. Ok, she dies again and we had the funeral. She was raised from the dead and she was alive again. Get this, she was a slayer and she died twice. Bingo, we should have a third slayer. Well, there should be a third slayer as she was dead twice. Is it me, is my math wrong. I could two deaths and one slayer from a death. Oh well.

This was already addressed in another thread a while back, I think the explanation was that Buffy was no longer considered "the" slayer after her first death, so any subsequent deaths would not give rise to another slayer.
In other words, only the most recent slayers death could give rise to another slayer.

What was explained to me (because I've often wondered this), is once Buffy died the first time, Kendra was the new slayer, and she was "the" slayer. After that Buffy's death didn't matter. After Kendra died, Faith was called. And when Faith dies there would have been another slayer called had it not been for season 7's poor storyline.

Could be! Still, I can see to give a balance with two slayers (As Buffy needed someone smart and wise to pick up rating points), and having three would be over kill.
