The patterns are used to test the level of stress a person can handle.. 'they' claim the slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress.

Oh wow, that's kinda cool. I like how it stops when you unfocus your eyes. And it moves kinda slow for me.

Well, since I'm not in anyone else's head, it's hard to compare. But it moves fairly slowly today. I suspect that on Saturday, when I really got to feel what sleep deprivation does to my thirty-something body, it would have moved faster.

I wonder if my husband will see it move at all, as he has nearly no sight on his left eye.

pssst...
you know.. you could close one of YOUR eyes to get an answer. As I closed my left eye the buggers moved exponentially faster than with two eyes. I suppose you could say that if I have both eyes open everything is what it seems. But then again I have a big one and I sit right on top of it so the image pretty much is all I see.

I started writing this as a rep comment, but it got too rambly.

It's not quite so simple, though. As he has some eyesight on that eye, but is not able to focus. The eye has an artificial, fixed-shape lens.) This was put in when he was in his mid-twenties, up to then his eyesight on that eye had been negligible ever since an accident when he was two. Therefore his brain doesn't process information from that eye quite the same way as it does the information from the right one. I forgot to show him the picture yesterday, but someday I'll remember.

While on the topic, I must add that I'm not quite sure how much of a difference that lens has made. The operation and the time after was really painful, and he didn't get as much sight as the surgeon had hinted that he might. I must admit that I strongly suspect that the surgeon thought: "Hoorah! A chance to try out that nifty new technique I've read about! Dunno if it works, I just wanna try it."

HA that's cool, it moved slow for me too,

but now and again it gets faster, haha. Clever.

I guess I don't move my eyes much. Those beans or whatever they are only move at all if I blink, or if I start moving my eyes over the picture; when I just focus the picture with my eyes they don't move at all.

Guess I'm totally non-stressy? 😀

This is some kind of joke, right? I stared at it for 5 minutes, and nothing moved, blinked, wiggled, shimmied, or hopped. Either it's a joke, or my picture is broken.

Either your picture is broken, or you handle stress REALLY well. lol
I hate these things. I have a squint in one eye (a lazy eye as its commonly referred to) which means I only look out of one eye at one time. I can see out of both eyes, I just can't focus out of both them at any one time. If I cover up the eye I am looking out of, the other ones in the other direction, tis rather annoying when I notice it.

Anyhoo, it means that things like these don't always work. I could never do 'magic eye' pics as a child, and 3D films don't work very well either as you kinda need both eyes focusing at once. Although, those new 'all black' 3D glasses might be better.

It does move a bit for me, but then I switch focus (which I can and can't control 😛) and then it goes all funny. Still, its weird though!

Maybe it's because I have the world's weakest stomach but those images make me really queasy.
