their sending it on tv right now,(sorta funny, cos two days ago, i walked pased the video shelf, and i though that i wanted to see it 🙂)

it's just so sad! the whole thing(and i get this claustrofobik[i can't spell that!]feeling inside of me as i watch it) thinking about how he has no rights, no real life, everyone in his life is a fake... and ... man.. poor guy!!

it's a good film though!!

anyone else have a thought on it???
 
i saw it a while ago, i thought it was good, but yeah, you feel sorry for the guy that everyone is watching his whole life...
 
yeah... but trueman didn't join, he was born, adopted by this company, and they made his life a tv show, they made a whole town just for him, a whole fake world, where he couldn't choose his best friend or who he married, cos the tv company choose it for him... they "killed" his "father" as well, when he was a kid, in this boating acident(spelling?) so that he'd became afraid of water, so that he couldn't and wouldn't ever leave the town!

that is a bit different..

but the whole thing with reality tv is that people wants to be famouse, or recogniced, or they want money.. or just their 15mins of fame.. though i think it's silly! cos... well it's just silly, and boring LOL 😉

ana8 have you seen the truman show?? it's very good... and they have great music in it!
 
i love that movie!...jim is a great actor...

everytime i watch the movie i feel so sorry ofr truman..i mean,poor guy! 🙁
 
yeah magui you said it!! jim is a great actor! i love this film.. i think it's on of his best! this might not be a comedy, but it still has the comedy, and the sadness, and well it's got alot!!
 
I saw that movie FOREVER ago (we own it its floating in my house somwher) Well I LOVE that move Jim is sooooo funny i luv him ^_^ Now I want to watch it! darn you now i have to look in my brothers room to find it....or mabie its in my room.....or my paarents, uhhh well here I go on a movie hunt lol

I found it!!! It was under my brothers bed along with a bunch of movies Im gonna watch!!!! LOL I didnt know we had half of those movies lol
