I was glad to see that they replaced the original Willow. She just doesn't have the spark like Alyson Hannigan does.

It's hilariously bad, but I do like that scene when Xander's talking about the cliques because he is so spot on about the Topangans 😉 it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The only major problems I have with it are that it looks super low budget at times, and Willow is so...not Willow. Also, the writing is much better in the original pilot.

I like the idea of a not-so-skinny not-so-pretty girl playing Willow, but she's just not as good an actress.

I have seen this somewhere, and I agree with you guys. The "other" Willow just didn't have the spark that Alyson Hannigan had for the role. The one part that I wish was in "Welcome to the Hellmouth" would be the library scene with Buffy/Giles. I don't like the library in the unaired pilot, but I loved the scene between them. It saddens me that it didn't make the cut, but I guess I could just watch the scene in the unaired pilot. 🙂

I don't like that girl as Willow AT ALL. There's no chemistry or connection between her & the rest of the characters. She was FLAT. Thank God they changed her to Aly. Love going back & watching it though....the good ol' days.
