I'm positvely psyched for the release of, "When A Stranger Calls." Though the actress that plays "Jill" doesn't look that good, I'm happy to see another horror movie. It's a remake, but I've seen the origional and I could make a better movie than that one.

So in honor of the new movie coming out, let's compile a list of all the scary urban legends that are out there or that you know of. Post any ones you know!

This one was typed by someone else so if it doesn't read right it's not my fault. lol

A boyfriend/girlfriend couple were out on a back road and they had pulled over to make out. When they were done, the guy went to start the car but the car wouldn't start. The guy remembered seeing a farmhouse just a little ways back on the road and he told the girl to stay in the car while he went to get some assistance. He told her to lock the doors and crouch down in the back seat so that if someone were to come by, they wouldn't see her sitting in the car. The girl did as she was told and the boy took off walking.

A little while later, the boy still hadn't returned and the girl was getting anxious. Then, all of the sudden, she started hearing a funny noise. Scrape, Scrape, Scrape...

All night long she heard this noise, but was too scared to get out of the car to see what was making the noise...all the while wondering where her boyfriend was...

The noise seemed only to come when there would be a gush of wind outside...

Eventually, morning came. The girl had dozed off only to be awaken by a pounding on the door. When she looked up, it was a police officer. He told her to get out of the car, come with him, and to not look back at the car. The girl did as she was told, but something about being told not to do something makes a person want to do it even more I guess, because she indeed did turn around only to see...

Her boyfriend dead. He had been tied by his feet and hung upside down from the tree and it was his fingernails that had been making the scrape, scrape, scrape noise on top of the car. His throat had been slit.

i've heard that one before...i think it's kinda cool.
ok, i got one, not all that freaky, but it's one of my faves.

A teenager has been asked to babaysit for a couple she's never sat for before, but she needs the money and agress to do it.
She has a mid-term the next day, she she takes her books with her to study when the kids are in bed.
About an hour after the kids have gone to bed, she's sitting on the couch, studying, when the phone rings. Grabbing a notepad and pen to take a message she answers the phone...only to hear nothing but heavy breathing on the other end. So she hangs up and puts it down to a prank call.
The next call, a sinister voice whispers down the line 'I'm coming for you'.
The girl screams and hangs up, laughing at herself for getting spooked by a prank caller.
Still, she doesn't want the kids to answer the phone to something like that, so she calls the cops and asks them to trace the call and block the number, promising she'd tell the parents when the got home.
An hour later, there had been no more calls, but the girls hears a knock at the front door. Taking a heavy shovel from the fire, the girl answers the door, only to find three police cars on the front lawn. A female officer escourts the girl outside and more cops run in to get the children, before an armed team with guns drawn storm the house.
The female officer tells the girl that they traced the call to the house she had been sitting in.
And escaped prisoner had broken into the house and was in the father's office, calling the girl on the other phone line.

I havent read their site recently, but one I remember about the gas station attendant accusing the woman of not paying for her gas, and she is like yes I did, and turns out there was an axe murderer hiding in the car and he was trying to protect her til the police got there.
