Actually I eat Poutine alot!!! Course it's not the same exactly...but it's still SOOO good! But we always stop for poutine and steamies when we head down (well I'm vegetarian so no steamies for me!).

I turned alot of my online US friends onto poutine..even sent them the sauce so they could make it at home! I make it at home alot but it has to be with cheese curds! 🙂 🙂 MMMM I'm hungry now! 🙂

Whereabouts in Montreal do you live? In the city, or suburbs? Our family is scattered all around. Some right downtown (cousins). My aunt and other cousins live in Pointe Claire. I was born in Dollard, my hubbies family lives in Lachine and some right near Dorval airport!

for brits like xander lover...is it always gloomy and yukky in England??

No, yes winter can be quite bad but the weather can be alright. It ranges, woke up this morn and the car was iced over but by the afternoon it was sunny. Summers are really hot (too hot, damn it!) and winters can be cold. Were in Autumn at the moment, along with Spring nobody knows what the weather'll be like.
