Something just occurred to me. If we assume that THE Apocalypse is Buffy's (or some other Slayer in the future) final battle as reported in the "Fray" mini series, and Angel is already human (or at least no longer a vampire) in ATF, then doesn't that mean that the ONLY vampire left to possess a soul would be Spike? Wouldn't that mean that he, not Angel, would be the recipient of the real Shanshue?

What, however, makes you so sure that the Twilight-apocalypse and the W&H-apocalypse are the same one?

(Maybe I posted this in the wrong place, which is causing the confusion. Since it refers to characters from both the "Angel" and "Buffy" series, and was first referred to in the original "Faith" mini series, it might have been more appropriate in "Inside/Out.")

THE Apocalypse, the last great battle, determining the fate of the earth, apocalypse that I was referring to, is the one referred to by Urkon in the original 8-part "Fray" mini series. The last Slayer and her friends face off against some undisclosed Super Big Bad, resulting in all supernatural/mystical forces are sucked out of Earth and into some other dimension.
