The Vampires good looks

Generally they tend to cast good looking people as vampires. Kiefer Sutherland in The Lost Boys was kind of sexy (even with the mullet). James Marsters was (and still is) a very attractive man when he played Spike.
It's not just about the looks but about personality, and whilst the "bad boy" can be sexy in fiction, it doesn't mean the same is true in real life. The guy who plays one of the vampires in Vampire Diaries and was in Lost is supposed to be attractive but I did not like him at all in Lost so I do not see the allure. Others might. To each their own.

What I'm about to say is not meant to show disdain or contempt of anyone. I only mean it matter of fact and presume there's some Archetype here that I'm not seeing, perhaps because I grew up more with scifi/fantasy than romances. I suspect it plays into that only the protagonist/reader/viewer can see the good side and thus he will be forever grateful to her for that and be completely devoted to her, though that doesn't explain to me how it seems almost inevitably they also prove to be a threat to the heroine at some point, or how it's supposed to be so romantic when Edward tells Bella he wants to kill her...at least Angel watching Buffy sleep was shown as creepy than lovely.
Obviously, I'm referring to the look of Edward, and also early Angel (that he couldn't quite keep past Angel season 2), and others, like Stefan from the Vampire Diaries. Despite how he must prove to be a threat to the heroine at some point, they also tend to have bland personalities, at least that's how I see them. Not even Angel came off as particularly interesting to me until somewhere in the middle of season 2. Like the bland look, the bland personality is also a stock in trade. (That said, in these cases the heroine is usually far more bland than the vampire love interest himself so that the audience can project themselves into her, which was thankfully avoided in Buffy.)
I'm really trying to think of "sexy vampires" and I guess it's that I prefer vampires as demons and monsters (though they can be seductive, it's the seduction of a venus flytrap), though I was a fan of a few vampires (who I saw as tragic figures) like Jander Sunstar (and I loved his suicide, playing an ode to the sun and sungod which he worshiped as a mortal for dawn, and when I later heard the authors, who loved the popularity of the character and so kept him around as others would Spike, I was furious for him that he was deprived his noble end just so the creators could make more bank off him). I feel as if I'm forgetting an important character which I'll share later if I can ever remember.
Still, I thought the vampires, male and female, of the Lost Boys were attractive and interesting with romantic tension I could sympathize with (cheesy effects, especially at the end, aside). Perhaps it helped that I saw it (on video) as a teen myself.

Probably the most attractive lady vampire that I ever saw (aside from Vampirella, of course) was Anne Parillaud from the 1992 movie "Innocent Blood." I never saw her in anything else, but I remember thinking at the time that she could nibble my neck anytime.

What I liked was the human that changed to be a vampire, even if that meant only facially as did Darla or Drusilla. But how many films are there where the human becomes the demon and retains the look of a human. While they are a vampire do they retain some degree of looking good.
Another question I could have asked is which actor should never have tried to portray a vampire, to my mind that would have to be Nicolas Cage.

I have no idea what’s wrong going with me but I find the vampire faces in general ( mainly buffyverse and the lost boys) attractive. I don’t really find many people in fiction or reality attractive but I don’t know, the vampire faces are so nice.

You're odd - live with it! 😉 Seriously, I don't think that's particularly unexpected. Most contemporary vampires don't belong in the category of the terrible, the horrible or the dreadful. IMO, they're best understood in relation to the uncanny. By design, the vampire is both less than and more than human - simultaneous familiar and strange. He/she transgresses boundaries/blurs borders and transgression can be attractive. There's no reason attraction can't manifest itself as a physical attraction. Hence the number of fanfics that have Buffy urging Spike to move into game face during their most intimate moments. 🙄 The attraction of vampires is far in excess of "the bad boy" trope that's usually evoked.

I think the vampire faces did a good job of molding to the actors faces rather than making them completely unrecognisable if that makes sense, which means that if you like the actor in "human" face, then they still retain some of that attractiveness whilst in "game" face.
Is it wrong that that all I see is Tilda Swinton going "arrrrrrrr" (as in say arr} and Tom Hiddleston going "nyehhhh"

Did you notice that Angel's vampire face changed from episode to episode. Some vampire's looked silly when the demon made itself known, look at Russell in Angel 1 in the fight to save Cordy.
Why is it that the vampire looks so different, even the positioning of the fangs.
Try and explain how the victim is bitten, some bite marks are so unrealistic.
Another point of ridicule was when Angel's innards are removed by Fred, the vampires heart was just a walnut. So how could a bit of wood break into it, plus given its size think of how many places a stake is thrust into.

Gunn's sister looked awful in vampire face, even Drusilla's vampire face looked better on BtVS than it did on AtS.

Did they give Willow ginger-ish eyes when she was vamped-up?
The vamps in the season one pilot of Angel looked really bad, though!

Depends on what film you have been watching, I've heard mention of over 230 vampire films. I haven't heard of any film that has them as spirits. Many films have vampires with reflections and shadows. I've never heard of them being sensitive to aura's produced by homes or holy symbols. (do you mean aura's to mean something else and if so what?)
