This is a great idea. It's used to prevent cross-contamination when using vegemite and butter, but the same could be for PB&J or the like. I think we need a double sided butter knife. Makes a lot of sense.

Are people sensitive to cross-contamination? I'd use the same knife for both and damn the consequences 🔪

Rebel, you. I daresay even William the Bloody was more civilized. 😋

I’m against cross-contamination so I’m pro-vegeknife (anti vegemite, though)

That thing looks like the companion to one of those utensils that you carry camping, with a fork on one end, and a spoon on the other. A "Spork."

Tell him to buy a camper or a decent 4WD and get a draw to put metal knives forks and spoons in.
What's this?
Spanky admits to using a knife to spread them?
Apply a bit of warmth and pour them onto the slice of bread, or toast. Save wasting water at having to wash them.

Not so sure about this anti Vegemite thing though, is there a type of ant-i flavoured Vegemite
OR
is there a type of ant now that is the Queen's sister - an auntie(anti) Ant? tee hee

Ooh a double sided butter knife, one side for salted butter the other side for salt free butter.
And the handle is for sticky jelly, though that is more for a rule of sods law when you are spreading the butter.

Looking at that all I can envisage is my hand covered in butter once I turned it round. Though, to be fair, I would normally have either butter or spread on my toast and not both, so fancy double-bladed knives would hold no advantage (unless I was pretending to be Darth Maul over breakfast 😉)
