Hey, the title rhymes! 😀

I thought there was a thread on this show already, but I cannot find it! I know there has to be some zombie-lovers here on BB, so has anyone been watching AMC's The Walking Dead? I record the show every Sunday night, and I'm hooked!

Really anxious to see what happens with Morgan (and his son), the guy who sawed (?) his hand off to escape the zombies, and whatever happens between the Rick/Shane/Lori triangle. Also really interested in seeing what they do with THESE zombies, because from the past three episodes they seem to be showing more intelligence then your average Z.

Is that a good show? I'm just wondering because it's got alot of viewers, and people say it's got a good plot. But I can't say I'm a zombie fan or hater because I despised Zombieland, but I liked Night Of The Living Dead.
 
Love this show so much. I think if this show keeps on going the way that it is, it will become my favourite show. If you haven't seen it, watch the pilot, best pilot I've seen for any show.

Yeah, I've heard its been getting a lot of viewers for AMC! I'd give it a shot, only three episodes have aired so far (so it'd be easy to get hooked or pass) but I like the direction it's going, and it has already been renewed for a second season! It actually doesn't really remind me of any zombie film (the beginning reminded me a bit of 28 Days Laters though), but I usually like all of them. Lol. 😉
 
I saw the original "Night..." "Dawn..." and "Day Of The Living Dead." and they were gross, but at least original as a trilogy about a time "when Hell is full, the dead will walk the Earth..." But movies about zombies have gotten to be more plentiful than movies about teenaged vampires who are all pretty enough to be Chippendale models. I'm actually beginning to long for a remake of some of the old giant insect movies from the 50's, just for a change of pace.

LMAO! At least vampires have a certain sex appeal- definitely lacking in zombies (rotting flesh, anybody?) & monster insects! :D
I love this show! Sadly I think it said that season 1 only has 6 episodes and then we're going to have to wait all the way til next October for season 2 which will have 13. uuughh

my biggest wtf with this show is
Why would you want to go back into the city to save the racist guy? Obviously he is NOT someone you would want at the survivor camp. I got rapist undertones from him, on top of the obvious racist remarks/actions. Plus, I think he would kill anyone there unquestioningly...even if just for fun. I hate when good guys HAVE to take that 'better, richeous' road. Makes them look stupid more than heroic.

I agree with the stupidity of saving that guy. Also, I would be inclined to kill his brother AND the wife beater guy. Those three seem too dangerous to keep around. I guess the quality of mercy is not SupportOGal.

This show is great so far; I'm finding it really interesting and I am not particularly into zombies. If you haven't seen it yet, you should check it out!

I think they're being kept around for a purpose. I could see the season finale being bad guys vs good guys vs zombies. Based on this coming episode's preview, I would say that is the case with the intruduction of another group of people - who seem to be much, much more hostile.
 
So I haven't seen that show (don't have cable), but it sounds intriguing. I am definately an avid Zombie fan. It's sort of an ongoing joke at work between me and some of my friends (in fact, we just decorated one of my other friend's desks with 60 little drawings of those reanimated creatures as a birthday prank). And I was a zombie this last halloween....I'll have to post pics somewhere eventually.

Read the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks if you haven't already....It'll tell you everything you need to know about an impending Zombie attack.
 
That looks very interesting, I love Zombies so much I even have a tattoo of one on my arm! But they don't air this in Sweden, at least not on my stupid channels.

Zombieland sucked, it was a huge disappointment.

I gotta say, the last 15 minutes of the season finale were intense.
 
Just finished the last ep. This show is AMAZING! Only six eps and a ten month wait for more is torturous though 🙁
