the way buffy dresses

Has anybody else noticed that Buffy dresses way more conservative now? In the first season all she seemed to be wearing was short skirts and dresses...she looks a tad frumpy now but not a lot.
 
I know that Sarah hated all the short skirts that they had her wear in season 1. She doesn't like skirts...doesn't like to show off her legs. Maybe thats why THAT stopped... As for the rest of her clothes, as well as the popular question, "Why on Earth did they bury her in that?", I have no answers.
 
Maybe since she died and all... she feels well beyond her years... so the "frumpy clothes" explain that.

I liked the dress the buried her in.. but what was up with season seven (in the US) and the latest episodes ugly , ugly, ugly outfits? Their fashion coordinator aught to be shot.
 
When Buffy died in The Gift she died in a polo neck and in most shows people seem to die in polo necks aswell!!!
 
i've loved Buffy's style of fashion/clothes mostly since season 4.

but obviously, people change sense with age.. a couple of years ago i DETESTED wearing skirts, but now i realised i like my legs ( 😛 ) and i wear whort skirts a LOT now.
 
Also, she's not in high school anymore. She's a lot more mature. I admit, I liked how she dressed the first several seasons better, but it makes sense that she would be a bit more conservative now that she's sort of like a mother figure for Dawn and all of the SITs.
 
Or maybe the costume designer isn't Cynthia Bergstrom anymore. Cynthia stated that she loved those mini-skirts. I loved how SMG was dressed in Season 4 than the way she's dressed now.
 
I think that she dresses alright now, I guess? But i loved her outfits in season 2 and 3 😀 she alway look cute and i loved her hair in season 3 😉 It seems that all they ever do with her hair now is put it back, kinda dont like that but whatever overall i think that she dresses cute 😀
 
yeah I loved her style in S1 she was more girlish then slayerish in S1 then S2 she didnt have much fashion sense but looked alright, S3 she dressed her best and her hair was the best in that season and S5 I hated when she wore those big loop earings it made her look so old and S7 she dresses fine, sometimes bad sometimes good
 
I mostly love all the clothes Buffy wears, but I prefer her looks from seasons 2, 3, 4 and 5 the most. By season 7, maybe she was trying to be alot more adult but I wasn't as into those clothes, tad too conservative, especially since really on the show she was only supposed to be early 20's.
 
I like her dress sense, I liked it in season one and I like it now! except for the costume she had to wear when she worked at taht fast food place!
 
Have you considered the possibility, SMG has an eating disorder.

Most annorexic women prefer slacks and loose fitting, blouses with high necks. It hides their unnaturally thin appearance.

Compare Season 1 Buffy, to Season 7 Buffy. Where did her breasts go?

Try to get ahold of a tape of Season 7's First Date where she's wearing the low-cut gown. Observe how bony the clavicle appears.
 
Excuse me, but I did not know that she died in the end until now so next time can you plz say that this might contain spoilers!!

ok first of all SMG doesnt choose Buffys outfits the wardrobe ppl do it and choose what she wears and SMG went down a cup size while she was filming I Know What You Did Last Summer because she had to lose alittle weight and it made her go down a bra size and that was during S1-2
