I watched the wish last night and I came up with a few questions.

1. In propecy girl, the master told buffy that is she hadn't come, he couldn't go. How did he rise in the wish if buffy wasn't even there?

2. Why weren't the vampires scared when it comes to the slayer?

3. Why was Giles there and Buffy wasnt? (i know why buffy wasn't)

4. Where was Buffy?

5. Why did Angel say "You don't remember... How could you"
you prob. think im like some blonde ditz for asking this but yeah just wondering

Those are some good questions...um...

1. There could have been other ways for him to leave his underground lair. For instance, The Harvest. Maybe he could another way to break free, and did so.

2. In Sunnydale, vampires reign supreme over all humans. So, maybe the vampires weren't afraid of the Slayer because they were to cocky. We've met vampires who werenn't afraid of Buffy before, like Spike.

3. Giles could have been sent to the library as a counter-partner. The Watchers Council knows that Sunnydale is located on the Hellmouth. So, maybe, they sent Giles there to watch over it and report any dark power rising incase action needed to take place.

4. Maybe vampires are sensitive to reality changes? I have no clue.

These are my thoughts, they could be wrong.

1. THe Master broke out during The Harvest obviouslly in the alternate reality since he was able to in the regular reality if they got enough blood.

2. Vampires werent afraid of the Slayer because A. Some never heard of her, B. She didnt kill anything that big to strike fear into her enemies, C. Like Vamp Xander said the name Buffy doesnt strike fear into nobodys heart.

3. Giles was there because Buffy was orignally suppose to be sent to Sunnydale but in the alternate reality Buffy was sent somewhere else and never made it to SunnyDale.

4. Buffy was in Cleaveland.

5. Angel saw her Buffy before in LA thus the whole "you dont remember jpw could you"

1. As said it was about The Harvest. As Buffy stopped it the Master needed more blood to come to the surface and Buffy's blood did that. In the real dimension he needed Buffy because she stopped his plan before. In this reality she didnt so he didnt need her.

5. The part where Angel sees Buffy in LA can be seen in Becoming Part 1 if you wondering.

1) In the alternate reality of 'The Wish' (from hereon out referred to as the Wishverse), The Master escaped at the Harvest (because there was no-one to stop it). In the time that followed, he and his followers took over Sunnydale and turned it into the vampire paradise we see in 'The Wish'.
2) The vampires who ruled Sunnydale had no reason to be afraid of Buffy
3) Giles was to have become Buffy's Watcher when she arrived in Sunnydale, and was sent there for that purpose; I'm not quite sure how that would have worked out exactly, given that we know very little about Wishverse Buffy, but, judging from what we did learn about her in 'The Wish', I am assuming that Giles would have been Buffy's first Watcher (unlike in the real Buffyverse, in which he was her second), with Merrick instead being assigned to guide her when she showed up in Cleveland.
4) Rather than being sent to Sunnydale, Wishverse Buffy was sent to Cleveland (the site of a second Hellmouth) instead.
5) I really have no explanation for this, except that Joss included the line to indicate that Angel was the only person other than Cordelia in the Wishverse who retained memories of the way things were supposed to be.

Angel said all that stuff because history was changed to prevent Buffy from moving to Sunnydale. Whistler still told Angel he was supposed to help her, and all the flashback stuff *as someone previously mentioned* from "Becoming" still happened.

The Master probably rose during The Harvest. Luke would not have been stopped and thus would've drank enough blook to free him.

Because they had free reign over the town, and they were pretty much close to dominating the human race in Sunnydale, they were not afraid of one teeny-tiny slayer.

Giles was in Sunnydale because originally Buffy was suppossed to go there. He probably got caught up in being a librarian and with the white hats that he stayed.

Buffy was in Cleveland, at another Hellmouth. ("I know there's a great amount of Paranormal activity in Cleveland, but it just so happens...." The Wish. "There's another one in Cleveland"... Chosen)

Angel saw Buffy in "Becoming, Part 2" during a flashback. He saw her on the steps of her old school in LA. She never saw him. So, this means that Angel was just dumb in thinking that Buffy would remember him when she never knew he saw her in LA

I know that these were all answered in earlier posts, but I just wanted to put my two cents in.

I don't think he expected her to remember him because he thought she saw him, I think he expected her to have some sort of spiritual connection which just wasn't present in the Wishverse

About the whole 'Buffy and Giles' thing...

Digific made some good points...I always assumed that Buffy was with Merrick, not a new Watcher that had been assigned to her upon her arrival in Cleveland. Looking at it now, I think that makes the most sense, although I still wonder why they didn't just ship Giles off to Cleveland instead of sending somebody else over there. Dunno. .:shrugs:. A bit confusing.
