The Wonder of the Curse

Part 1

Not telling anyone of her return Willow returned alone from her travels with Kennedy. She had wondered what and who she would find and where they might be. Excited to see who was doing what and where, it didn’t really surprise her that the college in what was Sunnydale had moved to be a part of a college in the city of Los Angeles.

Seeking what had once been the Wiccan circle Willow found it had changed to become led by Amy and was now concentrating on what the individuals personal development and what that could lead to. Amy had led them gathering to co-habit in a once faded wooden building that now looked like any building that had great improvements throughout.

At once was a faded wooden shack, now with vast improvements it appeared as two buildings, one was a modern meeting house and its chapel. In the meeting house a circular table of Mahogany took pride of place on the highly polished floor, around the table were set positions where people had their names placed so none could claim she was the leader.

Amy had her name emblazoned in gold flake, her talents of Ergokinesis and Invisibility were written above her name in silver though no description of the power was written there. Each of the gathering were to have a limit of two powers to learn or improve upon, Amy gave herself Ergokinesis to allow herself to have control over fire, and invisibility.

Rose sought the Energy for Medicare, for her to have the ability to heal anyone, be her gifts be needed for a laceration or for any breakage of a bone. Rose also gave herself the gift of Atmokinesis, it pleased her to have a power over the development of any weather pattern or to control any existing weather pattern.

Grace fought for Pyrokinesis for herself, it impressed her that she had the gift of control over existing flames or for the flames of fires that had just begun. Her second choice was that of auto-motive writing. Dana had been brought into the circle giving herself telekinesis ; moving any item then she took telepathy to have her will implanted wherever she wanted.

Angharad won the gift of Retro – cognition so she could see any past event and with thought–ography she could impress an image into another’s mind. Rosanna won herself the gift of shapeshifting, to be able to change her shape at will, as and when required and that of Levitation: to float or fly.

Rosalind was happy to be left with the power of Atmokinesis, a power which enabled her to have control over all formations of the weather. Be that weather be formed unnaturally by natural forces or should the force be naturally formed by an unnatural power. Rosalind’s gift was combined with the gift of the positive Curse.

Willow gave herself the gift of thoughtography and to enable another to have the power of the negative curse. Amy and Willow developed a friendship together, that friendship allowed them to board in the same house, knowing the owner of the house was into self – improvement helped them find security.

The Wonder of the Curse

Part 2

Dana was woken up by surprise that morning, the unexpected nature of the happening made her feel bad, plus she heard an announcement from an obscure radio station. Thinking to herself what she had heard, that a young woman had been reported as missing on a mountain north east of L.A.. Dana lay in bed and worried about the woman.

Later that day Dana passed on what she had heard to Willow, Willow promised to inform Amy when she saw her that she knew of the woman. Come midday Amy and Willow agreed to take a few others to try and find the missing woman. “Considering where they were going Willow suggested that Rose be asked in case the woman was injured.

Amy wanted Rosalind to be with them. Willow looked to Amy and asked her why. Amy stated the opposite power to one of Willows gifts will be needed. Dana threw her arms about Amy’s shoulders. “Is five all we need?” she asked. Amy thought about it. “Given that the woman is missing in open land I am doubtful Rosanna will be needed but six of them went there.

Getting some fuel for her car Willow gave each of them a lift out to where they were told the young woman had gone missing. Having inspected the ground and found no evidence of which way the woman had gone in Dana was asked to concentrate her gifts to try to be able to notify them which direction the young woman had traveled in.

Willow and Rosalind combined their gifts of the positive and the negative influences that might have been had on the ground. Rosalind was able to read the effects of the woman’s feet on the . Seeking to discover a sub-soil disturbance Amy started to lead the group. Finding that some of then were now able to follow the impressions in the depth of the soil.

Rosanna was asked to enable her ability of Levitation to move her body to just over the tops of the trees. The woman’s impressions on the soil had caused several small rocks to be moved which allowed Rosalind to see how several movements of small rocks on top of rocks had caused scorpions to find a cooler cover from the heat of the sun.

From that both Amy and Willow could see that the shadows from those rocks had affected the heat pattern on the bedrock, Rose was able to see that small snakes benefitted from the heat to their bodies and a direction was plotted that eventually allowed the group to discover where the young woman was hiding. When the young woman was found

she was discovered to be temporarily blinded by sand being blown into her eyes, that caused her not to look away from the wind that blew the dust of the sand into her eyes. Willow gave Rosanna the keys to her car she asked her to get two vials of eye wash and bring them back as soon as she was able to so they could clear the dust from the young woman’s eyes.

The group of witches were able to convince the young woman not to disclose how they helped her, the police were left unaware that magic had been used to rescue the happy young woman.

The Wonder of the Curse Part 3

The men of the local churches had captured one of the girls, rather than torture her they decided to drown her in the river that flowed nearby. They had kept watch on certain women suspecting them of ignoring the rulings of the church so having seen Dana dancing on the day when she should have been in church they captured her and tied her to a dunking board.

What the men were unaware of was the gifts each of the women nor did they consider that a woman could have a remote level of intelligence. Dana was able to use her ability of telepathy to contact her friends and telling them where she had been taken, of her Amy used her gift of invisibility to enter her prison and tell her who had come to her rescue.

Dana was glad they would make a note of who had captured her to vengeance could be taken out on them although she was not quite so impressed that she would have to remain where she was for a while longer. The men from the local churches began to rue the day Dana had been captured as each of the members of the coven took it in turns to scare the men.

Rose would make a storm cloud follow one of the men for several days, Grace had the path where he was walking to often start to burn. Angharad caused vast murals of large winged creatures to cover the man’s mind as he lay in bed to try and find his sleep. Rosanna enjoyed herself by entering his cell six inches above the ground.

Rosalind caused the man to understand what a positive fear could be, he made a flood begin to rise up, the fear of drowning cover the labr towards where had was contained. The door of her cell kept the fire away from her then Willow wandered to be near him Willow put a worrisome thought in the man’s mind. She caused him to think that water spread under the heavy door.

Thinking the water began to cover the ground in the cell the man soon learnt the fear of a negative curse. Panic set in when he realised that any of the witches could make him fear the possible and the impossible. Angharad gave him the pictures on his mind of a great flood about to drown him then without warning all the water vanished.

Before he was able to celebrate his escape from the predicament having vanished that the water re-appeared though this time the man was drowned and a second man was thrust into the cell though the man saw his cell as being the church. The vicar of the Parish chastised the man for harming one of god’s creations then as the vicar killed the man the witch appeared to the man.

Feeling scared to death the man followed Grace out of the church to wander outside. He was shown the headstone at the end of his empty grave. “Do not concern yourself though the headstone has not been misplaced and he his life left his body which was dropped into the grave and the excavated soil refilled the hole.

Dana felt the vengeance had been exacted thoroughly. He hoped the others would be just as pleasing for her.

The Wonder of the Curse Part 4


Knowing that several storms were lined up passed the horizon, the ground would be drown as hour after hour of rain would fall. Many native animals would be threatened so Dana told Rosalind to see if all was well she gave her fears of the approaching storm, hoping the floods would give aid to many Willow quickly told her that the floods would wash over the land.

Trees floated on rivers that were being washed out of control as trees on the rivers banks were washed over. They blocked the path of the water as it washed headlong around the rivers bends. Rosalind and Willow joined each other to stop the negative curse and enable it to be positive. Rosalind had Rose heal the land that was injured which gave power to clear the waterways.

Rosanna took on the right to lift the heavy trees that were blocking the flow under the bridges, though many a person grew more puzzled when large tree trunks that blocked the flow of the water were lifted from the center of the bridges to be placed on the rivers banks with seemingly no cause. Officials watching for town sites that would be flooded began to despair.

They had even more cause for concern when two women stood on a bridge that was thought to be under threat. Rosalind and Rose enhanced their powers to push the storm clouds aside so that the rain would fall to another side of a hill even though the officials had graphs that showed the rainfall would send its deluge into the river.

Grace wandered aimlessly until Amy had her combine her gifts with hers to give greater strength to aid the healing of Rose in order to blend the rivers flow where it needed to go. Rosalind played with the push of the rivers that would cause floods to grow out of control. So much so that Rosalind and Willow could protect the land either side of the river.

The officials and the media had reported where towns would be flooded when the rise of water level had reached the time for the floods to begin to flood the town, the houses and the nearby farms the waters had seemingly headed another way. Not knowing where the high levels of water had gone the officials flew in helicopters to the coastal regions.

The officials were however at a loss to explain why the women they had seen in the towns were ahead of them at the coastal regions even though they had left after them. Dana pressed her gift of telepathy to tell Amy to prepare her power of ergokinesis to heal the rivers bank and the atmokinesis of the control of the waters progression.

Rose gave her gift of magical healing to help the elements that had worn down the gifts when they had helped mankind to enable them to benefit those who lived near the water, be that the seas or the oceans or even rivers.
