The Worst Movie I Ever Saw...

I Know Who Killed Me, starring Lindsay Lohan. I have no problem with Lohan but this movie was a true abomination, the script and dialogue were appalling, the acting was atrocious...pretty much EVERY element of the production was a complete and total disaster, and it literally pained me to sit there for two whole hours. Worst film I've EVER paid to see.

On another note, "The Village" is one of my favorite movies. As is "Cloverfield", and "Lord of the Rings". 🙂

oh I liked "I Know Who Killed Me". I mean it wasn't spectacular and I would have been pretty miffed if I went and saw it in the thaetres but it wasnt a bad rental. I liked "Solstice" pretty well too. Its kinda along the same lines budget wise and acting wise. and probally equal with supsense its another twin movie needless to say.

I've never even bothered watching "Cloverfield" or "The Village" everyone I know who has seen those hated it. "Lord of The Rings" isnt so bad, its just too darn long!

I really can't believe all you guys who hated the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Sure, they weren't the greatest movies of the decade, but still, they were enjoyable. Of course, I'm a swashbuckler fan from childhood. Put a sword in an actor's hand, and as long as he uses it wih a minimum of skill, give me a bucket of popcorn and a large Dr Pepper, and I'm happy for a couple of hours.

I loved "Solstice". I don't consider it comparable with "I Know Who Killed Me" at ALL, I mean the acting in Solstice was pretty decent, it didn't make me cringe. I actually really enjoyed that one.

However, I just consider IKWKM to be a complete trainwreck from start to finish.

Wow, I liked a lot of the movies you all are mentioning, especially The Lord of the Rings. The production quality was wonderful and they stuck to the spirit of the book (if taking some liberties with the letter of it). The only problems I had were that Gimli was reduced to comic relief (he was really cool in the book) and Sam got ripped off at his chance to save the world (in the book he pushes Gollum into the fire).

Worst movie I ever saw . . . probably Undead. It's some Australian(?) zombie/alien movie. It wasn't even so bad it was funny. It was just bad. I hated Dead-Alive, too. I'm glad Jackson's doing some better movies now.

Ironicly, "The Conquorer" may have contributed to almost the entire cast's death from cancer. It was filmed very close to the site of the first A-bomb tests, and everyone was exposed to the radiation. (True Story!)
The Lord of the Rings is an amazing movie. Which is why it won so many awards.

Winning awards means nothing, look at Lost in Trans....the movie is so boring I can't be bothered completing the title!!!

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship was quite boring and Two Towers didn't get me jumping but Return of the King was great.

The trilogy was above average but only because ROTK was that good.

I liked all three a lot, the second is probably my least favorite because the battle scenes went on for way too long. I love the first one though.

The extended versions make the movies flow better, they're pretty amazing.

The extended versions are AWESOME.
See the last thing I want is Lord of the Rings to be longer

Oh how much I laughed in utter agreement at that comment. Mention of the extended version can sometimes cause me to shudder if someone threatens to put it on. Haha. (And yes, I mean threatens)

Edmund Blackadder
Haha - yeah, it bores the bejesus out of me
Worst movie ever: Napoleon Dynamite by far

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is so freaking awesome. They are one of the few movies that do the book justice. Most movies based on books suck really bad, take the 1st Harry Potter movie for example...haven't bothered to watch any after that one because it was awful...the books are brilliant though

Yay for LotR love!

I hated napoleon dynamite as well. Though John Hedder is good in other things. So many people love ND though and I couldnt see why.
Signs...biggest heap of shite ever created!! really it pisses me off even thinking about it!
I'll also join the 'We hate the village parade' more tripe from whatshisname!
Valentine...an hour and a half of my life I will never get back...seriously DB looked like he was wearing a Donny Osmond Mask!!
The Ring...not even in the realm of scary

Hmmm... The worst movie ever made is called Fröken Sverige [imdb link], I kid you not. Fortunately for you guys, it's in Swedish, and you have probably never heard of it, and will never hear of it again.

The Shape of Things
Most of you have never heard of it, and I'm envious.

Also, you all can't seriously be putting LotR movies in the "worst movie" thread. "most overrated", or "most popular that I don't like", I could see (though I wouldn't agree with it.) But worst? No way. There's a whole lot of valueless crap out there. Even if you hate the story and all the actors and the costumes and the accents, you still have to admit that its pretty.

I love just about anything that has swords, knights, and/or dragons. I'm a swashbuckler freak.
