The WORST tv show

I don't watch TV shows that I think are bad or just plain don't like. Life is too short for that, especially at my age. My wife is very fond of game shows, especially "The Price Is Right," and I ignore them. Does that count?

The Secret Life of An American Teenager. House of Anubis.

The Secret Life: No one's life is like that. They have no story, just the same one over and over.

House of Anubis: Why in the world did anyone think that show would be good? Granted, it was on Nickelodeon (I watched it when there was nothing on), but there was no excuse for that to air, especially in America. The acting was atrocious, and the entire series plot ended in one season.

I hate the dating reality shows, especially on VH1 & MTV. They are so fake!!! And I hate any show on the Disney channel because they are way to cheesy & corny.

I'm gonna hate on Seventh Heaven because it amazed me how it beat Buffy as the number one WB show for five years, had huge ratings and was so horrible.

It made teenagers and kids look horrible, women look horrible, Christians look horrible. It was not a "family" show at all, had horrific "role models" was preachy, talked down to the audience, had annoying characters. The parents were all over each other it was just tramautizing and yet somehow got like eleven seasons while Angel go canceled :0

I'm going to have to agree. I watched 7th Heaven religiously when I was a teenager. Why? I have no idea, honestly. That show was so morally righteous. The characters were unrealistic, and every episode was "very special", if you know what I mean. Every episode had this "moral lesson" attached. I know if I re-watched it now I've have a lot to say, lol.

As to the ratings it makes sense. There are a incredible amount of Christians in this country whom I imagine were all watching that show.

I agree with the Secret Life hate. I had to stop watching it. They are just tooo annoying and stupid. I also am not a fan of Switched at Birth (Another ABC family show). I reviewed it for work, so I had to like stick it out through the entire season. I had one person disagree with my review and claim it was "the best show" that they have ever seen. I worry about that person so, so much.

OT but just wanted to comment here that trying to teach a lesson per episode doesn't necessarily make a show bad - a show doesn't have to have people behaving like jerks in it to be classified as good. When I was a kid, nearly every show taught a lesson each episode. That was the entire point. In some ways, it's sad that people get ahead nowadays by behaving badly and our tv shows teach kids that that's how it is...

I agree with the people that mentioned Dollhouse. Eliza's character didn't interest me and it was so boring.

True Blood is a show I've tried several times but I find the story really weak and it just doesn't interest me.

One Tree Hill and Seventh Heaven are the absolute worst ones IMO. then there's a few other shows that are terrible like CSI: Miami, honestly is this show some sort of parody? I really don't know.
The little I've seen of Gossip Girl has been awful, and also According To Jim, how the hell did that last for as long as it did?!!!

CSI. CSI Miami/NY/Las Vegas etc. Unfortunately my husband loves them. For better or for worse I guess, but I don't think it can get any worse than that crap.

Many bad shows are/were made but that sure gets my vote.
