So did anyone watch this tonight? What are your thoughts? Personally there were at least 2 acts the I think should not have gone through especially the last girl...wow lol 😵
 
So happy it's back. So hilarious. That last woman was mad, so funny, she shouldn't of gone through though. I'm not looking forward to it without Cheryl though, I'm not a fan of Nicole.
 
That last girl who sang "Mercy" was hilarious. :biggrin3:

It was just so bizarre. Looks like another entertaining series is in the offing.

My local radio station said they'd play it her today if they get 12 requests for it, so I texted in for it to be played so funny.

I really like the 18 year old girl who did Katrina and the Waves and the girl with blonde hair who looked awesome.

Can't wait to see Sharlena's next performence though.

/me waits patiently for Katy Perry.
 
I haven't watched it but I've got it recorded for when I get home. I don't think I'll enjoy it though, the only reason I watched last year was for the amazing, talented, hilarious, perfect, beautiful John & Edward.
 
Have they auto-tuned the auditions, or is it just auto-tuned on YouTube because, I mean, that would seem to defeat the purpose of performing live.

They've autotuned, they just said on GMTV. It's apparently to enhance the enjoyment of the viewers, but I know I'd rather hear them as they are. Hope they get it sorted for future episodes.
 
Anyone watching?

First live show tonight. What did you think?

My favourites were Storm, Mary and Diva Fever. Storm and Diva Fever were fun, energy-filled acts. Mary - wow! Even with Laryngitis she outsang everyone else.

I thought Katie was weak and her outfit wasn't half as cool and quirky as she thought it was.

Cher was good and proved her critics wrong.

Not much to say on any of the others.

I did think the length of the show was excessive, though. Two and a half hours is too long. And cramming the adverts in I see!
 
Ooh i liked Cher and Aiden ohhh and that girl group were reaaaaaally good.
MMMMM i can't wait for Usher tomoz. *squeee*
 
Cher and Aidan i think were the standout performers. The way they moved, their mannerisms were spot on for the songs they performed.

Mary had a great vocal, Wagner was hilarious, John sang well as did Storm.

Belle Amie's song really suited them
 
I said I wasn't gonna watch this year, but it sucked me in!

Not a fan of Storm, Mary was amazing (whoo go Ireland!), I hate Diva Fever - they annoy the crap out of me.

Totally agree about Katie she isn't half as "weird" as she wants to be.

Cher is my Favorite, there's something about her that is just cool. Plus she's like a mini-Cheryl and you can't get enough Cheryl.

Rebecca and Paige were pretty good, Aiden (sp?) was SUPER intense.

I think the rest were pretty forgettable, I liked Matt but he wasn't as good as his auditions, FYD's dancing is so much better then their sining, Nicolo wasn't as cool as he should have been, and One Direction were pretty good, Tracey should have been allot better and anyone else I've actually forgotten.

Yeah it was a bit long, watched the Xtra Factor also took like 4 hours in total!
 
Tonight I loved Cher, Aiden and Mary. I missed the last act though 🙁 I think Katie even though I like her, is trying too hard as well as Storm mind you from what i've seen they look like they wanna be together!
 
Favourites tonight were Aidan and Treyc. Worse was Katie, and I think Belle Amie weren't as good as I fought they would be.
 
Aiden was probably my favourite performance but there was something really stage school about it.

I can't stand Katie, I really can't. Louis was right, style over substance.

Wasn't too impressed with Cher either. I feel like everyone wants her to be amazing rather than her actually being amazing.

Did the audience annoy anyone else? They kept screaming so much over the judges comments and through the performances, that I couldn't hear a lot of what was being said/sung.
 
I was getting well annoyed with the audience. I noticed it everytime Cheryl was commenting more than any of the other judges. I hated the Big Brother audience towards the end, and now the same is happening with the X Factor audience.
 
Yer the audience were a bit annoying. They did make it difficult to hear what was being said.

Who do you think will win at this stage?

I'll go with Mary or Aiden (remember I did not see the last act!)
 
I think it's between Matt, Mary, One Direction and Aidan, possibly Treyc too.
 
Well so far its better than the talentless lot that got through last year. Proud to see 3 irish have qualified. Was a little disappointed with all of Simon's bands however, I expected a lot better. Cher is over-rated for sure, which is a shame cause I loved her first audition. Treyc was great, Rebecca has amazing potential, and I really love Matt, just wasn't feeling his song last night.
 
I've pretty much watched every season of The X Factor but for some reason I just can't bear to what the awfulness that is on my screen.

I'm so sick of all the reality that is clogging up my tv, lets put some decent shows on please.
