I'm surprised that there hasn't been a thread on this yet, and even more surprised it took me as long to make one.

Normally I tend to stay away from shows like this, but I do like Sharon so that is the main reason for me watching it. Any ideas on who you think will win and who you want to win?

For me i've liked Tabby since the start, so I was glad when he ended up in Sharon's group as the other two would not know what to do with him. I've missed the last two weeks as I was on vacation so last night was the first time that i've seen it in a while. Loved his song last night and when he started playing the guitar that was it for me, I even put in a vote for him which is something I never do.

I'm hoping he gets it, or Cassie, but my vote is with him as he's the only one there whose music I can imagine myself buying.

I think the relastionship between Sharon and Simon is hilarious. I dont like any of the bands, specially G4.
I agree with everything Simon says, well most of the time, if someone was crap you might aswel tell them and so he does and he gets abuse for it.

I think that Simon is right most of the time,especially last night,he was right about G4's performance.And Sharon is so funny,she makes it really entertaining 😛

I do like her, and a voice like that at 17, wow! But going on my personal tastes chances are I wouldn't buy or listen to that kinda stuff, where as Tabby is more what I like. But I hope it is one of them.

G4, i'm kinda split on, last night it was a horrible choice of song, personally I can't stand it because I despise Oasis. But the way Jonathan argued back with Simon was pretty good and he did make valid points, that he used choirs on all his acts, when they were doing the same vocals but doing it themselves. Can't say that its my type of music, but at least its a different style from your standard pop crap that comes out of it.

I felt sad for Verity leaving the other night, as she was really sweet I liked her, 2 To Go will probably be next, and as for Steve, I just can't see why he is still in there.

True, Tabby is more the kinda music Id buy or listen to. Im not really into the ballads or slow songs. But it would be great if either won.
I think all of the bands are gonna go first, cause they are just terrible.
 
I hope Rowetta doesn't win. She was amusing at first because she was nutty but I heard a comment she made to Simon when her name was called towards the end that she got through. She said something along the lines of 'if it had been up to you I would have been first.' She seems to come across quite arrogant because Simon likes her.

And you can tell Tabby is an Osbourne when he swore after he got through.
 
I like them al except two to go, who are going for sympathy vote, and G4 who are just a bunch of posh ******* who should just shut up!!! as for one of them arguing back the other day, i heard everything they said but didnt really understand it because it was too articulated. my favourites are tabby and voices with soul!!!
 
Personally I think Steve should have left last night, he's just not in the same league as the rest. Two To Go, at least Pete had a sense of humour.

Props to Tabby though when he brought out that guitar 😀

VS - I disagree, its good to see something different other than the cloned boy bands. If Jonathan from G4's arguments were too 'articulated' for you, I broke it down in my first post above. All valid points.
 
Thanksfor the help faith, i agree that its nice to have something different but too be honest i cant see myself going out buying their CD's or even going to their concerts, in fact i probably wouldn't even watch them on musc videos- i dont think they should win or even come close too bcausethere are so many better acts than them on that show, i have never seen so much talent on one of thses types of shows, it just goes to show you that just because someone is over 25 it doesnt mean they can't be sucessful in the msic business lol!!!
 
So would you then say that Steve is better than G4?

I can't see myself buying their stuff because its not what I listen to. Like I said previously Tabby is the only one there who I would listen to. But that does not stop me from appreciating their talent and the fact that they have took on an industry that does not tend to favour their style.
 
I would buy voices with soul, tabby, rowettas, cassies music, i do agree with what your saying about steve, i wouldnt either and he's not even that good looking, why do they keep saying he is!!!
 
Thanks to Xander and Mr P for putting up with my ranting tonight while the results were on.

I cannnot believe its between Cassie and Tabby! I thought G4 were gone for sure. Tabby rocked this evening and it was one of my favourite songs.

Sharon - Good for you Mrs O who is refusing to vote and choose between her two acts! I thought Simon would actually choose Tabby as he seems the one who is the biggest threat to his acts.

Well its goodbye to Cassie in this competition, personally I found Rowetta and Steve bland this evening.

At least Sharon stuck to her guns are refused to choose. I still don't get how Steve is still there.
 
Me neither or G4 they should be gone now- mi felt so sorry for cassie- i mean all anyone didwas praise tabby, even the audience cheered for tabby, she must have felt crap!!!
 
I can't believe it, my Tabby is gone 🙁

I'm pleased that G4 got through because its something different, but Steve, the guy is yawn worthy. Loved Tabby's two performances, especially when the pipers came on, I always get the chills when I hear the pipes.

I have a feeling, and i've loved to be proved wrong, that Steve is going to win. He's Simon's guy and the winning contract is with Simon, and as usual he wants artists he can tell what to do. But look at the last winner of pop idol where is she now?

At least Sharon is taking Tabby on, as Simon wouldn't know what to do with an artist of his calibre and probably would try and force him to do cheesy songs. I still can't believe that I was taken in by this show, normally I avoid them like the plague, after the whole funny auditions stage of course.
 
I don't really watch this but I watched it on Saturday. I can't believe Tabby got voted off!! His performances were great, especially the first one.

I'm really not a G4 fan. I think they recked that Queen song. If anyone should have gone I would have bet my money on G4!!

I don't mind G4, their music isn't something i'd actually choose to listen to or buy. But if its on i'll watch it. Where as Steve, like I said, his voice holds no entertainment and don't get me started on the personality.
 
I haven't watched it enough to know what any of them are really like...I liked it when the blond fella out of G4 put Simon in his place......now that was definate entertainment!!
 
Yeah he's done that a few times, a fiesty little thing. I'm not watching it next week, but I will send in a vote for G4 because I can't stand Steve.
