"The Yoko factor" : where ?

Hi, I'm currently discovering Angel season 1 while re-re-re-re-re-re-re-watching Buffy season 4 and I'd like to see the episodes in the logical order. That's why I'm wondering : between which 2 episodes of "Angel" is located "The Yoko factor" from "Buffy" ? Maybe it's even after the Angel finale... Please tell me. 🙂 Thanks!

From the chart I have, it looks like it goes "Sanctuary" (AtS), "Yoko Factor" (BtVS), "War Zone" (AtS).

Seems right. I just remember that in Angels first season the episodes came after the Buffy episodes ( Watch Buffy ep.14 before Angel ep 14 so to speak). It´s the same with Angel season two (he gets the news that Buffy died in the season finale). Correct me if I´m wrong but in Angels season 4 the Angel episodes came first. I´m not totally sure since I didn´t watch them at the same time, and my memory isn´t that reliable.

It seems that "Five by five" and "Sanctuary" happened both right after "Who are you"... And there are three episodes between "Who are you" and "The Yoko factor", and none between "Sanctuary" and "War zone"... Hence my confusion. Thanks anyway.

Yes that is where Faith shows up in L.A. after leaving Sunnydale, but my chart shows "Five by Five" (AtS) as coming after "Where the Wild Things Are" (BtVS). I guess it takes her a little while to get there.

In season Four of AtS, you can watch BtVS first and they seem to match up pretty well. Later on, you have to put more effort into watching them chronologically.

By the way, I'm looking at this chart.

Crossover Guide

I think 'The Yoko Factor' has to go right before the Angel episode 'Blind Date'. In this episode we have this dialogue:

Cordy on the phone: "Okay, I'm back to the desktop, Willow. What do I do now? - Okay, done that. - Back to life list. - Yeah. - Yeah."
Angel is massaging the bridge of his nose as Wesley sets down a cup carrier holding three coffees.
Wesley: "Any luck?"
Angel: "She's been on the phone for an hour and 45 minutes."
Cordy: "Hey, guess what they've been doing all day?"
Wesley: "Uh - saving the world?"
Cordy: "Well, yeah. But they've been breaking encrypted computer files, too!"

So this implies that these episodes fit together.

Sanctuary is the crossover episode before The Yoko Factor. Buffy and Angel argue at the end of the episode in the police station. Buffy being a complete b*tch and saying the most hurtful things to Angel. Then in The Yoko Factor Angel comes to Sunnydale to apologise.

If you have the dvd sets, there's a brochure included that gives the first airing date and a prief synopsis of each episode.
