Theme/Time Period You wanted to see in Buffy/Angel (Flashbacks and current included)

So on the way to work this morning I suddenly thought, 'Is there anything or any time period I wouldn't mind seeing characters from Angel or Buffy be involved in?'

So I ask all of you, is there any theme or time period or something to that effect which you would like to see characters from Angel or Buffy in? Whether it be something that could of happened (makes sense) such as Angel/Spike doing something in the past, or something that's not really possible but you'd want to see it. (Buffy as Joan of Arc or something).

Personally, I would like to see the Whirlwind (Angel/Angelus, Drusilla, Spike, Darla) in a Western. Whether they all be evil or not. While Angel was on television, I would have enjoyed seeing flashbacks or even a whole episode dedicated to a back story to Angel's/Spike's character involving a Western theme/setting.

I have a slight obsession with the 1960's go-go dancer look so I think it would have been great fun to see them in that era.

Darla, Buffy & Cordelia would rock the crap out of Brigette Bardot hair and makeup and Fred and Willow in the style of the waifish 60's girls like Mia Farrow or Twiggy.

I think we can put this into the category of 'not really possible' though!
 
I would like to have seen what happened in the time between the collapse of the hellmouth/destruction of Sunnydale and when we first saw Buffy at the beginning of Season 8. They went from a few battered Slayers looking at a big hole in the ground to an apparently well, if illegally, financed army living in a Scottish castle. There have got to be a whole lot of great story opportunities there, not the least of which would be Xander's time as Dracula's "manservant."
 
I guess no time period is truly out of the question since this is Buffy and basically anything is possible 😛

I would have loved to see more of a story based on the time period of the first slayer. We know it goes back a long time, but we weren't told exactly what time period it was.

One episode where they jump into the future of Fray's storyline would have been great also. But likely very expensive to film 😛
 
I enjoyed most of the Angel flashbacks especially during the Boxer Rebellion, but I wanted more Spike flashbacks. I enjoyed him in the 70's in New York, I'd want to see more of that. And like why is Spike there and where was Dru? Also more of Angel in the 20's or 50's I thought he looked so cute in those eras. And like @Blaze said, more of the first slayer would be cool.
 
I'm kind of bummed out that Angel fell into his "eating rats" phase before we got to see him in the 1980s. Can't you imagine him wearing high collared shirts and listening to Wham! records?
