What are your theories or conspiracy theories for Climate Change
what are your theories or conspiracy theories about why COVID -19 exists
any reasonings why COVID-19 has Aplha, Beta, whatever C is, and Delta?

I am interested to know how other members think.

D'you mean why have the names changed? I think it was a WHO decision (Gamma for C?). There's apparently another variant of concern from Peru (?), Lambda. If you mean why do they exist - mutation. I tend not to subscribe to conspiracy theory. Until someone proves otherwise I'll accept it made the jump in the Wuhan wet-market but won't be surprised if turns out to be a lab leak.
 
It's not phonetics - it's the Greek alphabet. "At the present time, this expert group convened by WHO has recommended using letters of the Greek Alphabet, i.e., Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta which will be easier* and more practical to discussed by non-scientific audiences". The Indian/Delta variant's getting called "the Johnson variant" in the UK because he didn't close the borders quickly enough.

*I'm not sure it is...and I'm not sure that's the reason.

A second smoking gun is that if the Sun were responsible for global warming, we would expect to see warming throughout all layers of the atmosphere, from the surface all the way up to the upper atmosphere (stratosphere). But what we actually see is warming at the surface and cooling in the stratosphere. This is consistent with the warming being caused by a build-up of heat-trapping gases near the surface of the Earth, and not by the Sun getting “hotter.”

Speaking of smoking guns... on my recreational drive this weekend I happened to muse that it's ironic that we, as kids, would look upon those big smokestacks and the smoke billowing from them and lovingly with whim state how 'ooh, their making clouds' now as adults we pass the same smokestacks as they spew death and disease into the air and with disdain state 'those [expletive deleted] things'

Nostalgia was as warm as the weather this weekend.

I come from a city renowned for its pottery industry. In its heyday there were over 4000 bottle kilns burning day and night...still had 2000 in the 50s. The Clean Air Act saw the end of them (and outsourcing saw the end of the industry). Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

Edit: By the way, since you've decided to become more serious and adult-like, you're not as much fun. I understand that you're trying to woo @TriBel and @Taake but c'mon now. Send them roses or candy, but for God's sake, get back to being your old self.

I'm glad of no: 3, after reading no:1 I was starting to get worried.
So Spanky, what type of recreational vehicle did you use? Did it have a petrol, diesel or an electric motor? And those folk sat on the smoke stack saying look at them so n so's driving them fossil fuel guzzlers killing the planet!

Lets give a thought for the billions of Shellfish that died in the warmer waters on the coast of Canada.

Who/ what do you think has caused the climate change?
 
I've never had a recreational vehicle so I don't know what they run on.

Really, I've never owned a tank but I know they run on fossil fuel. Admittedly though I have owned several bombs.
