Theory for New Buffy

oh, i was tryingto hint that Nerd4hire was a downer, he seemed to be implicating that i was lying or something. and i was trying to put it quite bluntly that it just a theory that's all!

Remember me? I'm the one who towards the beginning of this thread thought you had a fascinating thought with the whole Faith as Buffy thing.

What happened was, my mind started to wonder. I was thinking "Faith as Buffy", then it struck me they could continue to call it Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Faith as Buffy. Then it struck me they would like to do that, because Buffy isn't just a TV series, it's a market of media and merchandise.

From their point of view it makes economic sense to continue as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, even if Sarah goes.

Then I got to wondering why you never hear any talk of a non-Sarah Buffy from UPN or Mutant Enemy. That's when I thought of a couple of reasons why even if they were considering the possibility of a non-Sarah Buffy (and they probably are) they wouldn't tell anybody.
 
They do talk about it, they had several meetings with UPN, FOX and ME about the future of the shows, with ot without Sarah, but they don't tell us the outcome!
 
Yes there are frequent mentions of them discussing possibilities of what to do with the show in general should Sarah leave. I've even heard them mention some of those possibities, Dawn or Faith the Vampire Slayer, a new show called Hellmouth, etc.

But...

Can you provide me with a link to an article where UPN or ME are discussing the possibility of continuing the character of Buffy without Sarah Michelle Gellar.

They have to be at least considering it. It's interesting to me that they never mention it. It could be done. Charmed Chosen One's Faith as Buffy idea shows one possibility.
 
But when Faith will die at the end of this season, one of the SITs becomes a slayer, so I think that's the best option, offcourse we can have her body switch with Buffy, but nah, I think the character of Buffy is a goner!
 
hmm....okay, well i guess i spoke to harshly too quickly but the thread was unclear of dissage or non-dissage so i was irate, lol. Sorry i dissed you because i misunderstood your non-dissage of the situation. shall we agree to not diss any more dissage on either party so as to not incur any further retrifiable dissage in return?

as for any other ideas of the Buffy/Faith swap i have no clue at the moment! lol...my mind is on other things...like an upcoming hard semester at school...*shudders*...i want to go crawl into a nice warm hole in the ground and stay there away fromthe harsh realities of college politics, lol.

Anyway, you should let your schoolwork interfere with your Buffy-stuff. You should set your priorities straight!
 
You know, even if faith didn't switch w/ buffy cuz i heard she gets killed in the last eps of S7, wouldn't it be weird if willow did a spell and became buffy...kina like "this is how i'll repay u for saving me like 378965378563 times."
then willow would become a wiccan-slayer....
be even weirder if xander switched w/ her....eeekkk!
 
Faith dies, meaning one of the potentials will become the slayer, do there's my theory!
