Depending on what will be done more products from USA to China, less products from China to the USA. Maybe increased costs on Chinese imports might have a detrimental effect world wide.
When the cheaper goods are affected is it true that Walmarts will have problems, if to many Chinese imports are affected how many Walmarts stores will begin to close?
On the bright side, with Chinese products not being exported that stops the badly made Chinese goods from flooding the market.

Lucky for us our shoes won't be hit with the tariff increase. But I do believe there could be some good come from it if they could control China's stealing of IP and trade dress. You'd see a lot less of imitation knock-offs.

Not allowing China to just do whatever they want is a good reason.
It sucks being a hypocrite. I'm like yeah, hit 'em hard then like Don't hit them hard enough to affect my stuff though. Hopefully as my stuff is imported under a medical device tariff it might be safe. Already had one president (thanks barry) cost me a job, don't need another one to do so.

What needs to happen is for the US dollar to decline in value compared to the Chinese Yuan. That would make American goods cheaper all over the world and Chinese goods more expensive. This would repatriate a lot of businesses without any need for tariffs.
