There are rumors here and there of Doyle coming back

Really? Where did you hearr that? I hope he does come back, he was anexcellent character.
 
i think what miss Angel was trying to say is that it doesn't happen that often,especialy at the start of a new series,i think everyone expected Doyle to be in it until the last ever Angel,and also that good guys don't usualy die.
 
Hadn't heard. And i wonder, if true, to what purpose?. I believe Doyle served his purpose in Season One, dying heroically in "Hero". Why bring him back?.. wouldn't it demean his selfless act of bravery?.. plus i really don't think there would be a place for him at Angel Investigations anymore.

But hey, what do i know? ::tongue::

Yes good guys do die, and I think the show does reflect this, but in the same respect (and I guess because of the magic implications and the whole undead senarios) you can't expect people who die to keep getting reincarnated etc.

More bad guys, demons and vamps, have died in total during all the seasons.

I think Keeny's right - Doyle served his purpose in Season 1 and to bring him back would just seem really tacky.
 
Well was it tacky how they brought Jenny Calendar back? I didn't think so, it just led into another story line that teh never used but i didn't think it was tacky...and if they bring tara back they won't do it tackily, they already have a purpose for her as far as i've heard, so i htink things could work out...of course he doesn't have a place at AI anymore but maybe as a heavenly guide for one episode to help the gang out or soemthing...who knows!
 
Don't get me wrong here (I'm mean Buffy's died twice now) and I know its a fantasy show, but I think sometimes you have to show that people do die and don't come back.

If they just keep killing characters to bring them back again later - then really what's the point in killing them in the first place? And if its that easy to keep resurrecting people then why don't all the bad guys keep coming back and form a group?

Doyle's ending had meaning it was done extremely well. He was a good character for the opening of the show, but the show has evolved - and there are a lot of male characters already to overcrowd our eyes 😉
 
if doyle comes back, i'm not sure he would be resurrected.. i mean cordy is in a higher plane or something like that and doyle could be there... or he could be with the powers that be... remember they were the ones that never wanted him to come back...
 
I think that it would be cool to see Doyle again. I was watching some season one eps the other day and I forgot how funny he could act. He would always want to run away from danger!!😀 😀
 
ya I miss Doyel so much that Acient is to die for but I agree with Loren perhaps Cordy sees him on the higher plain or such the PBT's didnt want to bring him back so he might be helping from there is would make since
 
I would think he'd be on a higher plain if they decide to bring him back, seeing as resurrecting him would be pointless. So either way I would love to see Doyle return for a bit if only to help Cordelia.
 
I've said it before and i'll say it again. I strongly doubt that Doyle will be back. Not that I dont want him to, he is one of my faves. But thinking back also to all the animosity of when he left the show i find it unlikely that he'll be back.
 
MAN! Doyle was my fave (sorry Angel)! The way he went was xtremely heroic. He knew he was going to die and still went for it.

As sad as it may sound, these are just rumors and they might not bring him back. 🙁

His entire body was distegrated so resurection is out of the equation. Maybe a spirit orb into a host body...?
 
i think that if doyle comes back *hope he does* that he will be some kind of spirit and would be in the same place that cordy is. i love doyle he was so cool loved his axsent so funny he was a really good charecter and i really hope that he does come back for a few eps. 😀
 
I missed Season 1, but my brother actually stopped watching Angel when Doyle was killed off.

Coming back in spirit or flashback form could work without making too many demands on the actor.
