I read recently that the latest installment of the Highlander franchise is due to be released sometime in September, and I just was wondering how many of you might be interested. I saw the original with Lambert when it first came out, and really enjoyed it. The series was pretty good, but the later movies and the spinoff series (Highlander-Raven) just never thrilled me.

Honestly After the series ended i had no use for the movies... I dunno something about them just sucked...Adrian Paul was just awesome I loved him and the character Duncan MacLeod.. as did my mom but like i said after the series and after it didn't really revolve around that character we just lost interest so bad

Two words why the sequels and series did not work...Connery and Lambert! A one time pairing that should not have been attempted to try and improve.

Actually, Highlander: Endgame was more a Duncan Macleod story more than a Connor Macleod story, but it just wasn't all that good. A shame, too, because I really liked the series. The new movie centers around Duncan once more, but the few reviews I've read have little good to say about it. Granted, Adrian Paul doesn't have the "name" of Connery or Lambert, but his skill with a sword and his martial arts ability were impressive, and he is a more than adequate action/romantic lead.
