I always just thought you liked the color white. Haha. And you were avenging to make it a color... okay, I know... weird.
 
Well, I can't remember the exact moment when I first saw your name (Wow, memories! That was all the way back in '08), but nope, never thought it was racist! It reminded me of Chess, actually.

Actually, I do recall someone pointing out to me that there was a white supremacist who called himself "The White Avenger" a few years ago, but he now goes by the title "Frosty The Klansman." Maybe the dirty letter that I wrote him at that time scared him into changing it. (You just don't mess with Buffy fans!)
 
I never thought about it until you started that thread a couple years ago to say that you knew that there is some called The White Avenger online who is a white supremist but clarifying that you weren't him...(of course that meant taking your word for it...😛 I joke! I joke! 😛).

So honestly, I never made the connection until you highlighted it.

Mostly, when I see your name, I think "pain in the arse". 😛

It hadn't occurred to me until that thread a while back that others alluded to above but I'm pretty sure you're not a racist...though I can see how "White Avenger" could be interpreted in that way.

I never thought you were an actual racist, but the name does remind me a little of the names some white supremacists/racists use. And after I learned you were a Spuffy, I kinda associated it with Spike? Like the opposite of Angel's 'dark warrior' personality? I'm so weird. 😛

Always guessed it was a comic book character or whatever, which it apparently is.

Yeah, never really thought of your username as being racist. It's just simply 'white avenger'. You could be the 'green avenger' and I still wouldn't have thought of it being racist or anything.
 
I'm a foreigner, so I thought it was an idiom, like "white knight". It never occurred to me that somebody could see it as racist.

That's pretty much what it WAS supposed to mean. Unfortunately, a group of white suprecemasists choose to call themselves the "Knights Of The Ku Klux Klan," and dress in all white robes.
My first username here was The Kinslayer. I wonder if that made people think that I murdered my family...
