Hi all. I suppose I should start out with my history with the whole Whedonverse, and then get on to more personal information about me.
I started out watching Firefly, and got my entire family hooked on the show. The dialogue was so fun, it wasn't hard to get my sci-fi/fantasy hating mother to watch it. After a few years of only watching Firefly (and Serenity) I stumbled upon Buffy.
I was starting up in a new DnD campaign with a new group. There I was at the first session, not knowing anyone there except my uncle Bill, and I see one of the other guys in the group finishing up an EP of a T.V. Show. He casually mentioned that he had just watched all of Buffy in one month, yet again. I was a little curious, so I picked up the first season on DVD. I was hooked. I LOVED it. I had found more of what was missing from other shows: Whedon. I ended up buying the Chosen Collection as a gift for myself for Christmas, and watched through the whole series on that. This all happened in this year, so I'm still a very new Buffy fan, and I'm just now on my 2nd watch through. I'm on season 5 ep 3 as of writing this.
I have been a geek-ish kid since about 6th grade, when I got very into Fantasy novels. I read Lord Of The Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, and many other less popular series. I used to spend the majority of my time reading, but that has changed. I still read, but in 8th grade I got a computer, and was introduced to bittorrent, which allowed me to see T.V. Shows I would have never seen. I became an avid Adult Swim fan. From there I watched my way through all kinds of things, and I'm always looking for the new T.V. Show to keep me interested.
I would really like to say more, but I think this is defiantly a long enough introduction for a forum, don't you?
