Things look Dead

Ok well before we go about casting, I'd prefere to find out what people want to do with the RPG. Continue with the story we have or start over. I would like everyones opinion on this, and maybe we should shake up the roles aswell, what do people think would breath more life into the RPG?

Our current story is set after Angel, Buffy and co have set up slayer camps where they train new slayers. The gang has just discovered there is a Vampire that used to be a slayer, shes stronger then a regular vamp, she's backed off for the moment and the gangs in England waitin for what to do next?
 
I like that story but where do ye want to go with it? Is she the new Big Bad or just an awkward kill? I'm up for whatever...
 
If this does start up again I would loved to be cast. I read the cast list from the past and I didn't see that Drusilla was taken so I would love to be considered for the role. Thanks so much and I hope to hear more about this. =)
 
i think we should continue with this story...so many of us have already invested so much time in this RPG, i hate to see it wasted. (plus, i LOVE playing Gwen, and i'm worried she won't be available to play in a new idea)

maybe you guys should have a cast call for the characters that are available to play, get some 'fresh blood', as well as something to find out how man of the original cast are still around...but i guess that's what this is about, lol.
 
Some characters are dead that far ahead aswell and others aren't introduced yet if it's before there,... so there are problems either way 😛 unless we change things lol
If Anya's dead we can bring in Oz 😉
 
See I like the story we have at the moment, and I think it would be better to continue with it, like Lyri said we had worked hard to get that far. But I was just suggesting options.

And GG I would suggest you go back and have a quick read through some of the old threads of the game, we have had Oz in the game before.

I want to get back on topof this, so what Im gonna do is leave it till tomorrow, if anyone has any opinions on what they think would get the game moveing more please suggest away.

I've never played an RPG before but I would like to learn. I was going to join the one that is going but I got intimidated by the auditions. So I never auditioned for a part. Would someone like to help an RPG newbie out?

Basically you are posting as the character. If you follow the format and the story line you should do fine. You're just becoming the character and posting as them.

:: putting her coffee down on an empty table, she slides out a chair and sits down. Hearing the door open she looks up to see Xander enter the bronze ::

Xander: "Hey Xand"

:: smiling as he see's Buffy he makes a small wave ::

Buffy: "Hey Buff. Hows things?"

Buffy

Buffy: "Not bad, just taking a break from the study thing"

:: pausing slightly ::

Xander:" Want to join me?"

Please note that in the actual RPG you cannot post as another character, this is merely an example

Are we going to really continue the current story? If only half or less of the people who were active in it are still here? Most of the newer people will have no idea how to act as the characters, and how they have been relating to the situation so far. Unless someone writes up a paragraph or 2 on how each character had been acting / important things we need to know to post as the character.
 
I think we could easyily fill people in on whats happening. Anyone intrested in playing please check out this thread
 
well, those of us who have been here from the start could help fill everyone else in.
 
I think we should continue this story, too. I think there is potential there. Slayers can become vampires. Now that Buffy activated all of the slayers, there's a world of potential there -- like an army of vampire vampire slayers or the turning of one of our better known slayers. Maybe even another re-ensouling to mess with the Sanshu. Then, after Ansara is defeated, Dru can be the next big bad. Or maybe it can turn out that Dru was the real big bad all along and that Ansara was a decoy. Who knows? All I know is that I LOVE that Dru is currently in the mix. There is so much potential there with her complicated relationships with Spike and Angel and with their complicated relationships with Buffy. I just hope she doesn't die. I think the current story is still teeming with fun possibilities.

Anyway, I think that once we get people caught up and on board, we can shake things up again. I have faith in us. I, for one, read all the past episodes and now feel suitably up to speed. We just need to spend less time poking around the castle feeling bored.

And some romance wouldn't hurt. What are the rules on that in RPG land? Connor and Dawn sort of went bust before they started.
 
ok, just so all know (especially lyri who i feel so guilty for unintentionally abandoning in the RPG! real life stuff and all :blush🙂 i am here and want to continue. ill see what everyone decides to do here, and if its just continue as we are, i promise ill make more time to post 🙂.
 
Ok I have cast a few roles and now Im waiting for 3 people to get back to me, but I think we can go ahead and start, the cast list has been updated, and will be again, once I hear back from the rest.

Can all newbies also change their Profile picture to one of their character, this isn't your Av just your profile pic, so you will show up on the RPG thread as that character. We'll have names added asap.

Basicall everyone can just post where they left off, and the new guys can join in, we'll be starting a new small story shortly to get everyone used to playing their characters again.

If anyone has any Questions or ideas please pm me them my way.

Also from now on all Out of character comments and story discussions should be raised in the OOC thread

If anyone else in intrested in Joining also please PM me.
