Things That Buffy, Will, and Xand Have In Common

Remember that episode where Buffy performed a spell to see what's been causing Joyce's "tumor"?
That's when Buffy while in spell had found out that Dawn was an "extra" in their family.
She also sent away Riley that day for letting her alone perform the spell and Dawn was constantly disturbing Buffy with yelling from the hall.
 
Here's a weird and fascinating tidbit that I thought of while letting my mind wander into the fantasyland that I dwell...(sorry, dramatic)

Each one have different and all the vowels in their names:
Xander: a and e
Willow: i and o
Buffy: U (and sometimes) y... and they're in order!

Yes, I have to get out more!

is 'y' a vowel? At least in German it's not...

And if you come with vowels I'm going to say they all have double consonants in their names:
Xander HaRRis
WiLLow Rosenberg

Nice find. Yeah, 'y' is sometimes a vowel.

And, reaching here, but all have the letter 's' in the last name. :drunk:

They've all slept at Buffy's house.
 
OK, for the none English speakers, Y isn't actually a vowel HOWEVER, it is sometimes referred to as the Part Time Vowel.

Have you ever heard the saying 'Sometimes Y'?

That relates to its use in certain words that don't have any vowels at all.
It takes on the 'properties' of a vowel in word from my to rhythm.

Thanks for explaining. I thought that (sometimes y) in my initial post would've cleared that up. Oh, well...
 
They've all had boyfriends/girlfriends/dates that most people couldn't stand.

Buffy had Riley (I didn't mind him, but most people HATED him.)
Willow had Kennedy.
Xander had...uh...the Ashanti girl.
