Things that really annoy you...

What are the things that really annoy you more than anything else? What can people do that will ALWAYS get under your skin?

For me:

People who lick their fingers whilst going through a pile of paper...WHY do people do this? I don't want a handout with a little spit spot on it!

People who ditch their friends when they're already out with them to go hang out with their boyfriend/girlfriend. RUDE!

People who constantly denigrate themselves to get compliments or praise.

When I dont think people I am talking to on the phone can hear when i cut lose a little fart but they do...
(and this is not the same phone fart) but when you think its just a fart and you put out a little bit o' solid material with it

Probably the thing that annoys me the most is people that go around spraying bug spray for no apparent reason

My pet peeve is people whom repeat the question you asked them in their answer.

Like, if you ask someone "Excuse me, where's 55th ave?" They reply with,

"55th Ave? It's..."

Or if you ask "When is the term paper due?"
"When is the term paper due? The 12th, I think."

For some reason, that just really irritates me.

Also, bad punctuation bothers me.

Also, people who blame everyone else for their troubles. But I guess that's pretty general.

When you're talking to someone and they're looking at the TV or something. They say 'I'm listening, keep going' then when you're finished they start talking about what they're watching as if you weren't even speaking. (ok, that's a bit specific:tongue🙂

-Slow walking people, especially in places like a shopping mall and they suddenly stop right in front of you and then shout at you when you walk into them. People should come equipped with brake lights.

-I agree with NIX about people talking with their mouth full. How difficult is it to wait a few seconds while you chew your food??

- People poking me and when I ask them to stop they don't.

- People who judge someone before getting to know them. This annoys me so much.

I dont drink the carbonated soda very often, but I can say one thing that annoys me is when you belch and the fumes (for lack of a better word) go out your nose. That's rather an annoyance. I cant be alone in that.

When people get off an escalator and just stop...dead...hello people coming up behind you!

In general its tourists, students and people who dont work milling about the shops when i'm on my lunch. You have ALL day I have one hour, stop staring and everything and keep out my way.....i'm grumpy when on my lunch but in my defence, Edinburgh at this time of the year is chaos.
