Things to do in NYC

Hey all,

I am planning a trip to NYC later this summer and I really need ideas on things to do there. I have been in NYC a couple of time so I have done the regular tourist attractions. Now I am looking for the real NYC experience and new fun stuff to do. Any ideas? If you live in NYC where should I go, shop or eat?

Go see Drunk Shakespeare. That is not a suggestion; That is an order! Buy a seat down on the floor.

Also, I would recommend heading over to Brooklyn and catch some concerts. The Union Pool in Williamsburg is a very intimate little venue where you'll be sure to meet some crazy people. Brooklyn Steel is a bigger venue.

See if you can catch the bands Blood Cultues or Rubblebucket.

If you haven't been, take a trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. It is really beautiful.

Go see a show. Either on Broadway or off there has to be something that you'd enjoy. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is in NYC until May 2019.

The Whitney is free on Friday evenings I believe.

You're so lucky it's my dream to go to NYC! Have a look around times square, mean girls is on Broadway! And take loads of pictures!

I went last November for the first time, and I loved it!!! I highly recommend Dear Evan Hansen, though the tickets are pretty pricey (but it's Broadway).

to preview their main song. Be warned though, it's a very depressing play, but the music is amazing!
