what i learned today/yesterday

i learned that, after years of making out that i was dyslexic to get people off my back, i might actually BE dyslexic...how's that for karma?

i'm profoundly stupid and make things harder on myself because i think that the easiest way to do something is probably the wrong way to do them. i always have to invent a harder way, which ends up being wrong.
 
I've learned that the day after being sick is great, I was sick yesterday so I took today off cuz I was still feeling crappy earlier, but I feel fine now so I have a whole day to spend in bed!!

Lol, to clear things up. I don't actually listen to girls singing about ovaries, I'm apparently that kind of person though, according to some, err...
(Edit: lol just according to a classmate of mine who likes to think I'm a very "radical cheerleader" kind of feminist dyke, kind of 😉 )

I learned that my teacher who is all "against" Hollywood movies, have seen Eurotrip about ten times 😀

I just learnt that a friend of mine found out her best friend loves her, and she doesnt know if she loves her back.. its all so confusing... she even wrote her a poem (the best friend to my friend) poor thing... she doesnt know what to do..

ive learnt i might need another operation 🙁 not cool

it takes a lot to really make an impression on certain people. that, of course, usually means they're worth it to impress.
 
Not necessarily though. That can be a bad trap. Plenty of good time gets wasted trying to impress people who don't deserve it. They withold their validation to create an illusion of superiority.

Which sounds awful smug of me to say... what I mean is, folks like me yearn to be liked, and can't help trying to get liked, and that leaves us easily stomped on by people who love having fools like us jumping through hoops for their approval.

It sounds terribly simple and easily avoided when it's spelled out, but if I've learned anything recently, it's that I never learn. 😀

I've learned that EVANESCENCE ABSOLUTELY FRICKIN' KICKS ASS IN CONCERT.

...wait...I knew that already. But it's nice to be reminded.

Oh, um, I learned that I've just wasted 3 hours of my day and now plan on sitting at a pumpkin patch in the cold from 4 pm to 7pm and then going to some trashy fastfood place for dinner. Yippee.

At least I get to mess with money (Anya moment)

I dunno. Where would you start? It's a braver woman than I that would put the word "ovaries" into Google. Jesus knows what you'd get back.


You could just start listening to Ladytron. They don't really sing about ovaries, but the name scares people off well enough.
