Things you absolutely REFUSE to do. Ever.

Things I used to do but will never do again because with age you become a boring wuss. 😀

1) Watch scary movies (even mild ones)
2) Go on a roller coaster
3) Go Bungee Jumping
4) Listen to loud music

Guess 32 is the new 90, heck even 90 year olds are more fun than me.

When I left this thread we were talking about Potholing & bungee jumping.......I come back & it's all about eating cats....how did that happen? 😕

Agreed! I wont watch scary movies now, I have enough scary images in my mind now,no need to add more! Rollarcoasters are out for me cos of my back, i remember going on one at movieworld before I was diagnosed and the pain sent another level of euphoria through me! I dont think i need that experience again.
And loud music also, its just not enjoyable.

There's a $1 Chinese food place here, (at Motor and Venice next to 7/11) where they sold all kinds of wonderful food...I ate there a lot. Until one day, after I'd eaten the Teriaki Chicken; anyone who has ever owned a cat is familiar with it's scent...and I swear to GOD, I was exhaling that kitty smell. It's funny now, but...

I never got the appeal of loud music. I mostly listened to them among friends who thought they were soooo coooool. But, nah, it's just obnoxious noise.

Yeah, exactly. School bus days, on a discman, that skipped over every bump, but it wasnt cool unless the whole bus could hear it. Obnoxious is right!

And at festivals, i'd rather have room to dance than have my ear drums blasted and covered in other peoples sweat near the speaker. I would say I refuse to do music festivals, but Tash Sultana is really tempting! Is Groovin the Moo sold out @Blair ? Haha

I actually have no idea. I was always a Sound Wave girl... Until they cancelled it -_-
Jumped on their website and yes it's all sold out. I remember GTM a year or two ago and they were thinking of cancelling the event in Buno as so many people crashed through the fence, not paying for tickets and such. I think a security guy got pretty beat up at one point.

OccaQuokka, Blair and Geobubbles I am sorry but this is before your time, I went to a concert and saw Rose Tattoo as the back up band.
Everyone was so well behaved, it took a long time for everyone to leave. The first problem was remembering where the exit from the concert was the second problem was remembering where the ride home was.

I have had the same issue at Big Day Out in Claremont... there is only one train station, how on earth did we miss it for so many hours!

I recall leaving a Foo Fighters concert 20 mins before they finished to not fight 30 000 other people for a taxi home (that and I was to the point of blacking out. I don't recall much of that concert) But polite people at a concert? Unreal!

I will convert you into a death metal fan. Oh yes. It's just a matter of time. You will submit to the darkness. 😛

Oooh! The guitarists use the same line of guitar as me- an LTD. Respect~
Never say never 😉

I refuse to go to Russia or Saudia Arabia (and some other countries, but these come to mind right away).
I refuse to take hard drugs. I would be okay with trying some different types of soft drugs, but I would never take hard drugs.
I refuse to pull hair out of my cat's butt, I do all the cleaning, but when there are poop problems due to hair nope my girlfriend is there for me. I just can't do it.
I refuse to go to a prostitute, I mean I have seen plenty of them in Amsterdam, but I would never be with them. I know there is plenty of them who actually want to do this and are not forced into this, but the entire thing is way too artificial for me.
I refuse to move back to my hometown. It is just way too dead and boring for me.
I refuse to stay in the Netherlands for the rest of my life. Got my eyes on Scotland definitely.

These are all rather unrelated, but yeah these are things I refuse to do at this moment in time 😉

Sometimes the brain gets stuffed because of the music being played, like it was when I saw Hawkwind in Birmingham. I took some nice drugs before the open air concert to see Led Zeppelin at Knebworth but the concert was so good and so many people (over 250,000 people) the vibe was far better than the drugs could provide.

I'm ultra curious, what do you define as a soft drug and a hard drug?
I had to watch a video for uni a few days ago and it was about people's opinion of what was the safest drug they thought and whcih was the most dangerous. It was set in 2005 in Australia. What surprised me is that most people said they believed marijuana was the most harmful and that ecstasy or even cocaine was a safer option.

Bahhahaa. Does soft drug mean chewable? Or cuddly?
Dude. Didn't need to read this. I feel nauseous.

Do all cat's have hairbutts? If so:

I will never have a cat.

Im well put off my breakfast.

I will also, never own a cat.

(Although, realistically, the animals in my life have owned me. I just hope I never become a cat slave. I am already under the horse and bunny spell, I need me time!)

On the meat topic - i swear I hear pigs squealing from the farm trucks that go by. I refuse to confirm it and have it put me off my bacon 🙁
